Marymount California University announces baseball team
Marymount California University is proud to announce the addition of a Baseball Team to its roster of sports programs. This comes as a result of a successful crowdfunding campaign that raised $25,000 to support the team’s first season. The baseball team will compete in Division III of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA).
The Head Coach of the team will be Ryan Leach, who has extensive experience coaching at the collegiate level. Coach Leach is confident that the team will be competitive in its first season and is excited to bring baseball to Marymount California University.
The baseball team will play its home games at Terreno Park, which is located just off campus. The park has undergone extensive renovations in recent years and is now one of the finest facilities in Division III
We are confident that the Baseball Team will be a great addition to Marymount California University and we are excited to see what the future holds for this program.

Lopez is a senior who has played for Marymount California University for four years. He is a two-time All-American and was named the Conference Player of the Year in 2016.
Perez is a junior who transferred to Marymount California University from East Los Angeles College. He was named First Team All-Conference and led the team in strikeouts last season.
