Merrimack College Baseball Releases 2019 Schedule

Merrimack college baseball has announced their 2019 schedule. The Warriors will look to build off their success from last season as they take on some of the best teams in the country.

2019 Schedule

The Merrimack College baseball team has released their 2019 schedule, which features 34 games, including 17 at home. The season will begin on February 22 with a three-game series against UMass Lowell Rated as one of the best teams in the Northeast region by several preseason polls, the Warriors will look to build off their successful 2018 campaign in which they set a program record for wins (30) and reached the NCAA Division II Northeast Regional for the first time since 2012.

The home opener is set for Friday, March 8 against Franklin Pierce University. Other notable home games include a three-game series against nationally-ranked Southern New Hampshire University (April 12-14), and a four-game set against Bentley University (May 3-5).

The Warriors will also faceoff against several other regional foes on the road, including Saint Anselm College Hill College Adelphi University and 2010 NCAA Division II National Champion Le Moyne College

The 2019 Northeast-10 conference championship is scheduled to begin on May 10 at Warrior Diamond.

The Merrimack College Baseball Team released its 2019 schedule on Monday afternoon, as the Warriors will look to build off their 18-win campaign from a year ago. Head Coach Brad Sudhalter and his squad will open the season on Saturday, March 2nd with a doubleheader at Nyack beginning at noon.

Players

The Merrimack College baseball team has released its 2019 schedule, which features four home games and four road games. The Warriors will open the season on March 2nd with a Home game against the University of Maine They will then travel to take on the University of Massachusetts on March 3rd. The Warriors will return home to take on Boston College on March 9th. Their final home game of the season will be against Stony Brook on March 10th.

Record

The Merrimack College baseball team has announced its 2019 schedule. The Warriors will play 36 games, including 18 Northeast-10 Conference contests.

Merrimack will open the season with a four-game series at Georgia Tech from February 15-17. The Yellow Jackets finished last season ranked No. 11 in the nation with a 42-19 overall record and an ACC record of 21-9.

The Warriors will play their home opener against crosstown rival Bryant University on March 5. Merrimack will also host Northeast-10 foes Franklin Pierce Saint Anselm Southern Connecticut State Bentley and Assumption during the conference portion of its schedule.

In non-conference action, the Warriors will take on Holy Cross Harvard, Dartmouth, URI and Northeastern.

Merrimack, coming off a 16-27 campaign in 2018 that featured a 9-15 mark in Northeast-10 conference action, will open the new season at home on Saturday, March 2 against Mercyhurst. The Warriors will play their first 10 games of the season at Warrior Diamond before embarking on a 20-game road trip that takes them through the month of March.

The Warriors will play their first conference game of the season on Saturday, March 23, when they travel to Franklin Pierce for a doubleheader. Merrimack will also face NE10 opponents Southern Connecticut State Assumption, Bentley and Saint Anselm during the month of April.

The Warriors will close out the regular season with a three-game series at home against American International from May 10-11.

Postseason

Merrimack college baseball has announced their 2019 schedule, which features 36 games, including 22 Northeast-10 contests. The Warriors will open their season on the road on Saturday, February 23rd, when they take on Saint Anselm in a doubleheader. Merrimack will then play their first four games of the season on the road before returning home for their home opener on Wednesday, March 6th, against Bentley.

The Warriors will then play four of their next five games at home before embarking on a five-game road trip. They will return home for a three-game set against Southern New Hampshire from April 5th-7th. The Warriors will play eight of their next nine games at home, including a three-game set against Franklin Pierce from April 19th-21st and a four-game series against St. Michael’s from April 26th-28th.

The Warriors will close out the regular season with seven of their final eight games on the road. They will wrap up the Regular Season with a three-game series at Stonehill from May 10th-12th. The Northeast-10 conference tournament will begin on Tuesday, May 21st and run through Saturday, May 25th.

The 2019 Northeast-10 Conference Baseball Championship Tournament is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, May 21st at Dodd Stadium in Norwich, CT.

The Merrimack College baseball team released its 2019 schedule on Wednesday morning, featuring 30 home games 10 of which will be played at North Andover’s Costello Athletic Complex. The Warriors will also play 16 Northeast-10 Conference contests in their first season as full members of the league.

Merrimack will open up the 2019 season with a four-game homestand, beginning with a doubleheader against Bentley on Saturday, March 2. The Warriors and Falcons will meet again the following day for a single game.
