The Messiah college baseball team will be playing 55 games in the upcoming 2019 season. The majority of the games will be played in the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC), with a few non-conference match-ups as well. The season kicks off on February 22nd and ends on May 18th.

Here is a brief overview of the schedule:

February:
The team starts their season with a long road trip beginning in Myrtle Beach South Carolina They will play four games there, against Wilmington University, Albright College Hood College, and Muhlenberg College. They then return home for one game against Gettysburg College on the 26th, before heading back out on the road to take on Ursinus College and Lycoming College.

March:
The team plays a mix of home and away games throughout March. Some of their opponents include Misericordia University, Alvernia University Lebanon Valley College Wilkes University, Elizabethtown College, Juniata College

April:
April is when conference play really ramps up. The team has 14 games scheduled in April, all against MAC opponents. Some of these teams include Albright again, Immaculata University, Stevenson University, Delaware Valley University and Widener University

May:
The team finishes up their regular season in May with three more conference games and one non-conference game. They then head into the MAC tournament, which runs from May 23rd-25th.

Messiah baseball schedule How to Get Tickets

Messiah College is a NCAA Division III school which competes in the Middle Atlantic Conference. The Conference Schedule has not been released, but the school schedule has. The team opens their season on Saturday, February 15th at home against St. Mary’s College of Maryland. Their first conference game is scheduled for Friday, March 27th against Lebanon Valley College.

The college will be playing a total of 34 games this season. 28 of those 34 games will be played at home in Grantham, Pennsylvania. 6 games are being played on the road, with 3 games in Virginia and 3 games in Maryland.

Tickets for home games can be purchased online or at the ticket office on the day of the game. General admission tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students and seniors. Children under the age of 5 are free.

The Messiah College Baseball Team will open their season on Friday, February 15th with a Home game against Ursinus College. The game is scheduled to start at 3:30 PM. The team will play a total of 36 games this season, 18 of which will be at home and 18 away.

The majority of the team’s games will be played on Fridays and Saturdays, with a few mid-week games thrown in. March will be a busy month for the team, as they have 12 games scheduled during that month. April is also a busy month, as the team has 16 games scheduled during that month, including four double-headers.

May is typically when the college baseball season ends, and Messiah’s last regular season game is scheduled for Saturday, May 11th against Eastern University.

In addition to the games themselves, there are several promotions happening throughout the season that fans won’t want to miss.

Opening Weekend (April 5-6): To celebrate the start of the season, the first 500 fans through the gates on both April 5 and 6 will receive a free Messiah baseball T-shirt

Kids T-Ball Night (April 26): All kids ages 10 and under will receive free admission to the game, and those who wear their youth league jerseys will be able to take part in a pre-game parade around the field. Following the game, all kids will be able to run the bases just like the Messiah players.

Senior Day (May 3): All seniors will receive free admission to the game, and those who pre-register will be entered into a drawing to throw out a ceremonial first pitch.

Fireworks Extravaganza (May 10): Following the game, there will be a spectacular fireworks show set to music. This is always a fan favorite, so be sure to stick around for it!

Military Appreciation Night (May 31): We will be honoring our military service members at this game with special ticket prices for active duty personnel and veterans, as well as a pre-game ceremony featuring military color guard presentations and dignitary speeches.
