The Hurricanes have won four College World Series championships, in 1982, 1985, 1999 and 2001. They have also appeared in the World Series ten times, more than any other team in the ACC. The Hurricanes have produced many Major League Baseball players, including Orioles great Cal Ripken Jr., Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter and Red Sox pitcher Chris Sale

The 2017 Miami Nes Baseball season will be the 123rd for the varsity baseball team, and their 53rd season as a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference It will mark the return of Head Coach Jim Morris, who led the team to a pair of College World Series titles in his first stint with the team from 1994 to 2006. The Hurricanes will play their Home Games at Mark Light Field at Alex Rodriguez Park on the university’s Coral Gables campus.

The 2014 season

The 2014 season was the Miami Hurricanes Baseball team’s 109th season of play. The Hurricanes began the season ranked #3 in the nation and finished the season with a number one ranking. They played their home games at Mark Light Field at Alex Rodriguez Park, and hosted NCAA regional and Super Regional tournaments for the first time in school history. The team won the ACC regular season championship, and the conference tournament They also qualified for the 2014 College World Series where they lost to Vanderbilt in the semifinal round.

The 2013 season

The 2013 season for the Miami Hurricanes baseball team began on February 15, 2013, at Mark Light Field at Alex Rodriguez Park in Coral Gables, Florida. The team played its first game against the Florida Atlantic University Owls. The Hurricanes are members of the Atlantic Coast Conference and played their home games at Mark Light Field, which has a capacity of 5,000 spectators. Thirteen home games were broadcast live on television by Sun Sports, with other games being available on ESPN3 and WatchESPN.

The 2012 season

The Miami Hurricanes Baseball Team is a collegiate Baseball team representing the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida. In 2012, the ‘Canes had a disappointing season, going 24-32 and finishing last in the ACC’s Coastal Division with a conference record of 10-20. They did not make an appearance in the ACC tournament or any postseason play.
