The Fans

Baseball is a game of waiting. You wait for the next at bat. You wait for the ball to come your way in the field. Even when the game is exciting, there’s a lot of downtime. That’s why fans are such an important part of the game. They give the players someone to play for. They give the game energy.

Baseball wouldn’t be baseball without fans. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, fans won’t be able to attend games in person this season. But that doesn’t mean they can’t still support their team! Here’s how you can keep up with your favorite team and show your support from home.

Check local listings to find out when and where games will be broadcast in your area. Many games will be televised, so you can watch from the comfort of your own home. You can also listen to games on the radio.

Tune in early for pre-game coverage to get pumped up for the game. And don’t forget to turn off your television or radio during batting practice so you don’t give away any secrets to opposing teams!

Even if you can’t watch or listen to every game, you can still stay up-to-date on what’s happening with your team by reading game recaps and highlights online or in your local newspaper.

And of course, you can always show your support by wearing your team’s colors and gear proudly!
