NBA Jam is adding a bunch of new features to the game, including a story mode and online multiplayer.

NBA Jam is getting a makeover for the Switch

EA’s NBA Jam is getting a makeover for the Switch, and it’s looking pretty good. The game will feature all-new players, teams, and venues, as well as some new gameplay mechanics. Here’s everything we know so far.

What’s new in the updated game?

The classic game NBA Jam is getting an update for the Nintendo Switch and there are some new features that players will be able to enjoy. For starters, the game will now feature authentic NBA teams from the 2019-2020 Season This means that players will be able to use their favorite players on their favorite teams and compete against other teams in the updated roster.

In addition to the updated roster, the game will also feature an updated visual style. The game will now have a more cartoonish look, which should be a refreshing change for fans of the series. However, some of the classic NBA JAM elements will remain intact, such as the on-fire mechanic and outrageous Dunks.

The updated NBA Jam will also feature a new mode called Remix 2-on-2. This mode will add some new rules to the game that should make for some more intense matches. For example, in Remix 2-on-2 mode players will only have six seconds to score, and there will be double points awarded for made baskets.

The updated NBA Jam is shaping up to be a must-have forSwitch owners, and could potentially be one of the best sports games available on the system.

How does the Switch version compare to other versions?

The classic basketball game is back and better than ever- but how does the Switch version compare to other versions?

The answer is- it depends on what you’re looking for. The Switch version is more true to the original game than any of the other versions, including the Wii U and Arcade editions. However, it lacks the polish of those games, and there are some definite drawbacks.

First, let’s start with the positives. The gameplay is fast and frenetic, just like the original. You can still play two-on-two or three-on-three with up to four players, making it great for parties. And there are tons of unlockables, including characters from other Nintendo franchises like Luigi and Princess Peach.

The graphics are also solid, although they’re not as sharp as in some of the other versions. But that’s to be expected given that this is a port of a game that originally came out in 1993.

Now, for the negatives. There are only three modes of play: Exhibition, Tournament, and Online. That’s a far cry from the Wii U version, which had nine different modes, including Remix Tours (which mixed up the rule set for each game) and Domination (in which you had to win five games in a row to be crowned champion).

The online mode also leaves something to be desired. It’s functional, but there are only two options: 1v1 Quick Match or Play With Friends. There’s no option for randoms or anything else. So if you’re looking for a competitive online experience, you might be disappointed.

Bottom line: If you’re looking for a quick fix of NBA Jam action and don’t mind sacrificing some depth and features, then the Switch version is worth checking out. But if you want the full NBA Jam experience, you’re better off picking up one of the other versions.

What do fans think of the changes?

The popular basketball video game NBA Jam is set to receive a major update, and fans are divided on what they think of the changes.

The most controversial change is the switch from 2-on-2 gameplay to 3-on-3. Some fans feel that this will make the game too easy, while others welcome the challenge. Other changes include an updated roster of players and a new create-a-player mode

So far, reactions to the changes have been mixed, with some fans excited for the update and others worried that it will ruin the game. Only time will tell how successful the update will be.

What’s next for NBA Jam?

In a recent interview, Trey Smith, the Creative Director for NBA Jam announced that the popular basketball game is planning some big changes for its next iteration. While Smith didn’t go into too many specifics, he did hint that the game would be moving in a “more realistic” direction.

This is a departure from the series’ usual arcade-style gameplay, which is known for its over-the-top dunks and other outlandish elements. It’s not clear yet how these changes will affect the balancing of the game or what kind of new modes or features we can expect, but it’s definitely an interesting direction for Nba Jam to take.

We’ll have to wait and see how these changes pan out when NBA Jam comes out later this year. In the meantime, you can check out our preview of the game to learn more about what we know so far.

Stay tuned for more updates

The classic basketball game NBA Jam is getting a makeover, with a new developer and publisher. The new game will be more focused on online multiplayer, and will feature “updated visuals.”

The original NBA Jam was released in 1993 by Midway Games, and was one of the first sports games to feature exaggerated player abilities, like being able to jump 40 feet in the air. The game became one of the most popular arcade games of all time, and was later ported to home consoles.

In 2010, EA Sports rebooted the series with a new game for modern consoles. But this new NBA Jam never quite captured the same magic as the original.

Now, it looks like the series is switching developers again. Espn reports that NBA Jam is being developed by Belgian studio Sabre Interactive, best known for their work on the TimeSplitters series. The new game will be published by 2K Games.

No release date has been announced yet, but we’ll be sure to keep you updated as more information becomes available.
