The Cavaliers went on to win the NBA Finals that year (with Brown averaging just 1.5 points per game in limited minutes), giving him his first and only championship ring. He’d bounce around a bit more after that (playing for boththe New Orleans Pelicansand Minnesota Timberwolves), but he ultimately decided to retire from basketball in 2019 at age thirty-five.
