Contents
The 2020 NBA draft is just around the corner, and we’ve got all the latest mock drafts and projections right here. Find out who’s going where in our latest mock draft
Anthony Edwards
mock drafts are never an exact science, but they’re a fun way to project what might happen on draft night. This year’s NBA Draft is loaded with talent, and there are a lot of ways it could shake out. Here’s our latest Mock Draft with a look at some of the top prospects and where they might land.
1. Anthony Edwards SG, Georgia: Edwards is the best scorer in this class, and he has the size and athleticism to be a star at the next level. He’s still raw on both ends of the floor, but his upside is tremendous. The Timberwolves would love to add another young piece to their core, and Edwards would be a great fit alongside Karl-Anthony Towns and D’Angelo Russell.
2. Lamelo Ball PG, Illawarra Hawks (NBL): Ball is one of the most polarizing prospects in this class, but there’s no denying his talent. He’s an elite playmaker with great size for his position, and he should be able to step in and make an immediate impact on offense. The Warriors are reportedly high on Ball, and they could elect to take him here or trade down and still get him later in the draft.
3. Obi Toppin, PF/C, Dayton: Toppin is one of the most explosive players in this class, and he proved last season that he can be a go-to scorer at the college level. He’s still developing as a shooter and defender, but his upside is significant. The Hornets need more firepower on offense after struggling mightily last season, so Toppin makes sense here as they continue to build around Devonte’ Graham and Miles Bridges
LaMelo Ball
There is a lot of speculation surrounding where Lamelo Ball will be drafted in the 2020 NBA Draft Some mock drafts have him going as high as number one, while others have him falling to the middle of the first round.
Ball is a highly skilled prospect, but there are some questions about his ability to play at the NBA level. He is just 18 years old and didn’t play against top competition in college. Additionally, he has struggled with injuries in the past.
That said, Ball has the potential to be a very good NBA player He has great size andlength for his position, and he is an excellent shooter and playmaker. If he can stay healthy and adjust to the speed of the NBA game he could be a star.
James Wiseman
James Wiseman is widely expected to be the top pick in the 2020 NBA draft The seven-foot center from Memphis has the size, strength and athleticism to be a dominant force at the next level. He’s also a skilled shot-blocker and rebounder, which makes him a valuable asset on both ends of the court.
Obi Toppin
There is no clear-cut consensus No. 1 pick in this year’s NBA draft but there is a strong case to be made for Obi Toppin of Dayton.
The 6-9 forward was named the National College Player of the Year after averaging 20.0 points, 7.5 rebounds and 2.2 blocks per game while shooting 63.3 percent from the field and 39.0 percent from three-point range He is an elite athlete with a 7-2 wingspan who can score inside and out.
Toppin would be a great fit with any team, but he could be especially valuable to a team like the Charlotte Hornets who finished last in the league in scoring (104.0 points per game) and rebounding (43.8 per game) last season.
Tyrese Haliburton
One of the most intriguing prospects in the 2020 NBA Draft is Tyrese Haliburton Haliburton, a 6-foot-5 point guard from Iowa State is an excellent shooter and playmaker who projects as a solid two-way player at the next level. He’s projected to be a late first-round pick in most mock drafts, but some believe he has the potential to be a steal if he falls to the second round. Here’s a look at where Haliburton is projected to go in 2020 NBA Mock drafts.
ESPN: 26th overall (first round)
Bleacher Report: 23rd overall (first round)
The Athletic: 25th overall (first round)
CBS Sports: 28th overall (first round)
SI.com: 27th overall (first round)

Cole Anthony
Cole Anthony is a 6-foot-3 point guard from New York who is widely considered one of the best prospects in the 2020 NBA draft He was a Standout Player at the University of North Carolina where he averaged 18.5 points, 5.7 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game as a freshman. Anthony is an excellent scorer and playmaker who has the ability to take over games when he’s on his game. He’s also a good defender with the potential to be even better at the next level.Cole Anthony is projected to be a lottery pick in the 2020 NBA draft and he could potentially go as high as No. 5 overall.
RJ Hampton
RJ Hampton, a 6-foot-5 shooting guard from Little Elm, TX, is one of the most intriguing prospects in the 2020 NBA Draft He’s a gifted scorer with a High Basketball IQ, and he has the potential to be a very good all-around player at the next level.
Hampton has been projected to be a lottery pick in most mock drafts, and he is widely considered to be one of the top prospects in the class.
It’s still unclear where Hampton will end up being drafted, but it’s safe to say that he will be one of the first few players off the board on draft night.
Isaac Okoro
Isaac Okoro is one of the best athletes in this year’s NBA Draft class. He’s an excellent defender and has the potential to be a very good 3-and-D player at the next level.
Okoro is projected to be a lottery pick, and it’s possible he could go as high as No. 5 to the Cleveland Cavaliers If he falls to the No. 9 pick, he would be a good fit for the Washington Wizards
