The NBA Mock Draft: Who Will Go Where?

With the college Basketball season coming to an end, it’s time to take a look at the NBA Mock Draft Who will go where?

Zion Williamson – New Orleans Pelicans

Zion Williamson – New Orleans Pelicans

The New Orleans Pelicans are widely expected to take Zion Williamson with the first overall pick in the 2019 NBA draft Williamson is a once-in-a-generation talent, and he would instantly become the face of the Pelicans franchise. There is a chance that another team could trade up to the first overall pick in order to draft Williamson, but it seems unlikely that any team would be willing to give up the necessary assets to make that happen.

Ja Morant – Memphis Grizzlies

With the second overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft the Memphis Grizzlies select…Ja Morant!

The Grizzlies are a team in transition, as they recently traded franchise cornerstone Marc Gasol to the Toronto Raptors With Mike Conley also gone, it’s clear that the team is committed to a full-fledged rebuild. And what better way to jumpstart a rebuild than by getting a franchise-caliber player like Ja Morant?

Morant is one of the most exciting players in this year’s Draft Class He’s an elite athlete with world-class quickness and explosiveness. He’s an incredible playmaker who averaged 10.0 assists per game last season. And he’s also a very good shooter, as he shot nearly 37% from three-point range last season.

The biggest knocks on Morant are his lack of size (he’s just 6’3″) and his defense. But with his elite quickness and explosiveness, I think he has the potential to be a very good defender at the NBA level. And while he may not be the biggest player on the court, he has a very big heart and is an absolute winner. I think he has all the makings of a future All-Star and franchise player for the Memphis Grizzlies

RJ Barrett – New York Knicks

RJ Barrett is a Canadian college basketball player for the Duke Blue Devils He played High School basketball for Montverde Academy in Florida, where he was widely regarded as one of the top prospects in the class of 2018. He was named a McDonald’s All-American and won a gold medal with Canada at the FIBA Under-19 World Cup in Greece. Barrett was selected third overall by the New York Knicks in the 2019 NBA Draft

De’Andre Hunter – Los Angeles Lakers

De’Andre Hunter, a 6-foot-7 small forward from the University of Virginia is projected to be drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers with the fourth overall pick in the 2019 NBA draft A former high school McDonald’s All-American, Hunter averaged 15.2 points and 5.1 rebounds per game during his sophomore season at Virginia. He was named to the ACC All-Defensive team and earned ACC Defensive Player of the Year honors as a junior, helping lead Virginia to a National Championship

Coby White – Cleveland Cavaliers

The Cleveland Cavaliers have had a rough past few years, but they seem to be slowly turning things around. With the number five overall pick in the 2019 NBA draft they will have a chance to add another young piece to their puzzle. Who will they take?

There is a lot of speculation surrounding the Cavaliers and their draft pick Some say they will go with Zion Williamson others say they will go with Ja Morant. However, many experts are now saying that the Cavaliers will draft Coby White out of North Carolina

White is a 6’5” point guard who is known for his shooting ability. He averaged 16 points per game last season and shot over 35% from three-point range. He is also a good defender and has the potential to be a very good player in the NBA.

The Cavaliers need help at the point guard position and White could be their answer. He has the potential to be a very good player in the league and could help turn things around for the Cavaliers.

Darius Garland – Phoenix Suns

The Suns have the No. 6 pick in the 2019 NBA Draft and they are reportedly high on Garland. The Vanderbilt point guard is an elite scorer, averaging 19.8 points per game while shooting 53 percent from the field and 47 percent from three-point range. He’s also a good playmaker, averaging 5.9 assists per game

Jarrett Culver – Chicago Bulls

The NBA Mock Draft is out and Jarrett Culver is projected to go to the Chicago Bulls with the seventh overall pick. Culver is a 6-foot-6 shooting guard from Texas Tech He averaged 18.5 points, 6.4 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game last season. He was named the Big 12 Player of the Year and led the Red Raiders to the NCAA title game.

Jaxson Hayes – Atlanta Hawks

With the NBA Mock Draft fast approaching, Jaxson Hayes is set to be one of the Top Picks The question is, where will he go?

There are a few teams that are in dire need of a big man, and the Hawks are one of them. With their current roster, they don’t have anyone who can really match up with Hayes. He would be an immediate impact player for them and could help take them to the next level.

The Hawks have been known to be aggressive in the past when it comes to draft picks so they could very well make a move to get Hayes. If they don’t, another team will surely snatch him up.

Cameron Reddish – Washington Wizards

Cameron Reddish is a 6’8” small forward from Norcross, Georgia. Reddish attended Westlake high school where he was a 5-star recruit and the number one player in the state of Georgia. Reddish played one season of college basketball at Duke University where he averaged 13.5 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game.

Reddish is an excellent shooter, especially from beyond the arc. He shot 35.6% from three-point range during his lone season at Duke.Reddish is also a good rebounder and a decent ball-handler for his size. He needs to improve his strength and athleticism if he wants to be successful at the next level.

The Washington Wizards will likely select Cameron Reddish with the ninth overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft The Wizards need shooters and playmakers, and Reddish fits that bill perfectly. He has the potential to be a very good player in the NBA if he can improve his strength and athleticism.”

Sekou Doumbouya – Charlotte Hornets

Sekou Doumbouya is one of the best athletes in this draft class He has a fantastic combination of size and length that allows him to play much bigger than his listed 6’9”. He is an excellent rebounder, using his second jump to grab boards above the rim. He is also a very good shot blocker, using his 7’2” wingspan to great effect. He is still raw offensively, but has shown flashes of being a very good shooter, with a smooth stroke and excellent mechanics. He needs to improve his ball-handling and decision making, but has all the tools to be a very good NBA player
