LSU is always a force to be reckoned with in college baseball and this year is no different. They have a deep roster full of talented players, and they’re always a tough team to beat. If everything comes together for them, they could be hoisting the trophy at the end of the season.

3. Vanderbilt Commodores

2019 Preseason Favorites

The 2019 season is upon us and that means it’s time to start thinking about who will be the best teams in the country. Although it’s still early, there are a few teams that have already separated themselves as the favorites to win it all.

The first team that comes to mind is the Vanderbilt Commodores Vanderbilt is the defending National Champion and they have a loaded roster once again this year. They are led by junior pitcher Kumar Rocker, who is one of the best pitchers in the country. The Commodores also have a talented lineup with players like Austin Martin and JJ Bleday. Vanderbilt is currently ranked No. 1 in the country and they are the clear favorite to win it all again this year.

The other team that has separated themselves as a preseason favorite is the UCLA Bruins UCLA comes into the season ranked No. 2 in the country and they have an extremely talented roster. They are led by junior pitcher Ryan Garcia, who is one of the best pitchers in the nation. The Bruins also have a dangerous lineup with hitters like Michael Toglia and Matt McLain. UCLA is a team to watch out for this year and they have a legitimate chance to win it all.

These are just two of the teams that will be vying for a national title this year, but Vanderbilt and UCLA appear to be head and shoulders above the rest of the field at this point. It should be an exciting year of college baseball!

2019 Sleepers

As the 2019 Caa Baseball season approaches, there are a few team that are being overshadowed by others who are projected to do better. These teams, however, have the potential to make a run at the title and surprise everyone. Here are a few of thosesleepers:

-The first team on our list is the University of Washington Huskies The Huskies had a down year in 2018, but they have made some important changes that should help them rebound in 2019. They have a new Head Coach in Lindsay Meggs, who is known for his ability to turn programs around quickly. They also have a strong recruiting class that will make an impact right away. If everything comes together, the Huskies could be a dangerous team in the postseason.

-Another team to watch is the Florida Gators The Gators always have talent, but they haven’t been able to put it all together in recent years That could change this season as they have a new head coach in Kevin O’Sullivan. O’Sullivan has done a great job at previous stops and he has brought in a top-ranked Recruiting Class If the Gators can finally live up to their potential, they could be one of the last teams standing in June.

-Arkansas is another team to keep an eye on. The Razorbacks had a down year in 2018, but they return a lot of talent for 2019. They also have one of the best players in the country in Casey Martin. If Martin can lead the way, Arkansas has a good chance to make some noise in the postseason.

These are just a few of the teams that could surprise people and make a run at the title this season. It should be an exciting year of college baseball!
