Get to Know the 2020 Ncat Baseball Roster

The 2020 baseball season is just around the corner, and the NCAT Aggies are looking to make some noise. Get to know the roster and what to expect from each player.

Catcher

The Catcher is often considered the most important player on the baseball field because they are responsible for controlling the game. Theyact as a type of quarterback, calling pitches and positioning other players in the field. The Catcher also has to be very quick and agile, as they need to be able to catch any errant balls that come their way.

The 2020 Ncat baseball team has two great Catchers on its roster. Devin Pederson is a senior who has been with the team for four years. He is a strong leader and an excellent player, who always puts the team first. Freshman Jake Smith is a talented young player who has already made a big impact on the team. He is expected to be a key player for years to come.

Infielders

The Ncat Baseball Team is made up of some very talented young men. Here is a look at the infielders on the 2020 roster.

Dante Bichette Jr.: Bichette is a slugger who has the potential to hit for both power and average. He has good plate discipline and should be a force in the middle of the lineup.

Cavan Biggio: Biggio is a versatile player who can play both second base and outfield. He has a great approach at the plate and should be able to get on base often.

Bo Bichette: Bichette is an exciting player to watch. He has electric speed and is a gifted hitter. He has the potential to be a real game-changer for the Ncats.

Trent Thornton: Thornton is a hard-throwing right-handed pitcher who should be able to eat up innings for the Ncats. He has good command of his pitches and should be able to keep hitters off balance.

Outfielders

The outfield is usually composed of three players, all of whom start in an outfield position when the ball is put in play. These players are positioned in left field center field and right field. In baseball, the outfielder is the Collective name for the positions located at the farthest distance from home plate They typically have less contact with the ball than infielders do, as their primary responsibility is to catch fly balls hit over their heads or track down balls hit to the gaps between defenders.

Outfielders must defend their area of the field efficiently, as they are often tasked with preventing runs from scoring and catching anything that comes their way. The following Ncat baseball roster includes our team’s outfielders for the 2020 season.
