The Fans

The Arena, formally known as Lawlor Events Center, is a 10,268-seat multi-purpose arena on the campus of the University of Nevada, Reno in Reno, Nevada. The arena opened on November 27, 1983. It is home to the Nevada Wolf Pack men’s basketball team of the Mountain West Conference It also hosts a number of concerts and other events each year.

The Coaches

The Nevada Men’s Basketball team is coached by Steve Alford. He is in his first season as the team’s Head Coach prior to coaching at Nevada, he was the head coach at UCLA.

The Conference

The Conference Schedule has the Wolf Pack playing two games against each of the other nine teams in the Mountain West The conference schedule is followed by the home and away non-conference games. The conference tournament is held at a predetermined site, with the top eight teams in the Conference Standings qualifying for the tournament.

--San Diego State These two teams have been duking it out for the conference title for the past few years, and it’s always a close and exciting game. The Wolf Pack will be looking to get revenge after losing to the Aztecs in the Conference Tournament last year.

-UNLV: This is a classic in-state rivalry, and one that always gets heated. The Wolf Pack will be looking to sweep the season series against the Rebels this year.

--Boise State Another conference rival that Nevada has had some great battles with over the years. The Wolf Pack will be looking to pick up a win on the road against the Broncos this season.

The Post-Season
