NSIC Baseball Tournament
This weekend, the NSIC baseball Tournament will be held in Mankato, Minnesota. The tournament is a double-elimination event, with eight teams from around the country competing. The teams are:
– The University of Alabama in Huntsville Chargers
– The Colorado Mesa University Mavericks
– The Concordia University – St. Paul Golden Bears
– Theipone College of Idaho Coyotes
The first games will be played on Friday, May 26th, with the Championship game taking place on Monday, May 29th.
NSIC Baseball Tournament Schedule
This weekend, the NSIC Baseball Tournament kicks off with four play-in games. The four teams with the best records in the conference will host a best-of-three series against the four teams with the worst records. The winners of these series will advance to the double-elimination tournament, which will be held next weekend at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Sioux Falls SD.
The following is the schedule for this weekend’s play-in games:
Friday, May 17
Game 1: #5 St. Cloud State vs. #12 Bemidji State – 5:00 pm CT
Game 2: #6 Minnesota Duluth vs. #11 Concordia-St. Paul – 5:00 pm CT
Game 3: #7 Augustana vs. #10 Sioux Falls – 7:00 pm CT
Game 4: #8 Wayne State vs. #9 Upper Iowa – 7:00 pm CT
Saturday, May 18 (if necessary)
Game 1 loser vs. Game 1 winner – 12:00 pm CT
Game 2 loser vs. Game 2 winner – 12:00 pm CT
Game 3 loser vs. Game 3 winner – 2:30 pm CT
NSIC Baseball Tournament Scores
The tournament will feature all eight schools from the NSIC South Division. The four-team, double-elimination tournament will be held at the US Quarry in Bemidji. The top two seeds from the regular season – No. 1 Concordia-St. Paul and No. 2 Augustana – will each receive a first-round bye and open nt play on Saturday.

The NSIC Baseball Tournament starts this weekend, with the top eight teams in the conference vying for the chance to advance to the NCAA Division II tournament. The standings are as follows:

NSIC Baseball Tournament Bracket
The NSIC Baseball Tournament begins this weekend, with four first-round matchups. The top eight teams in the conference will be seeded based on their regular-season records, with the top four seeds receiving a bye to the semifinals.
The first-round games will be held on Friday, May 17th and Saturday, May 18th. The #5 seed will host the #8 seed, and the #6 seed will host the #7 seed, with both games being played on Friday. On Saturday, the #3 seed will host the #6 seed and the #4 seed will host the #5 seed.
The semifinals will be held on Friday, May 24th, with the #1 seed hosting the lowest remaining seed and the #2 seed hosting the other final game The winners of those two games will then meet in the NSIC Championship game on Saturday, May 25th.

This weekend, the NSIC Baseball Tournament will take place in St. Cloud, MN. The top eight teams in the NSIC will compete in a double-elimination tournament to determine the conference champion. The tournament will begin on Friday, May 17 and will run through Sunday, May 19.
The top four seeds in the tournament will receive first-round byes. In the first round, the fifth seed will play the eighth seed, and the sixth seed will play the seventh seed. The winners of those games will advance to play the top seeds in the second round. The second round and beyond will be played under traditional double-elimination rules.
The NSIC Baseball Tournament is always an exciting event, and this year is sure to be no different. Be sure to catch all of the action this weekend!
NSIC Baseball Tournament Game Recaps
This weekend, the NSIC Baseball Tournament kicked off with four exciting games Here’s a recap of all the action:
In the first game of the tournament, top-seeded Augustana faced off against 8-seeded Bemidji State The Vikings got off to a hot start, scoring three runs in the first inning. But the Beavers fought back, scoring two runs in the bottom of the second. Augustana added another run in the third, but Bemidji State answered back with two more runs in the bottom of the inning. The Beavers tied the game up in the fourth inning, but Augustana pulled ahead for good with two runs in the fifth. The final score was 7-5 in favor of Augustana.
In game two, 2-seeded Concordia-St. Paul took on 7-seeded Wayne State Wayne State got on the board first with a run in the second inning. Concordia answered back with two runs in the top of the third. Wayne State tied things up in the bottom of fourth, but Concordia regained the lead with a run in fifth. Wayne State evened things up again with a run in sixth, but Concordia pulled away for good with three runs in seventh. The final score was 7-4 Concordia.
In game three, 3-seeded St. Cloud State faced off against 6-seeded Winona State Neither team was able to score through three innings, but St. Cloud broke through with a run in fourth. Winona responded with two runs in fifth to take the lead, but St. Cloud came right back with three runs in sixth to retake it. Winona ties things up again with a run seventh, but Stearns came through with a walk-off single in eighth to give St Cloud a 5-4 victory.
Finally, 4th seeded Minnesota Duluth took on 5th seeded Sioux Falls in game four of Opening Day action.. After a scoreless first inning, Sioux Falls took a 1-0 lead on an RBI groundout by Andrew Johnsoninininin second inning.. UMD evened things up 1-1 when Luke Olson hit an RBI single int eh bottom half of thee frame .. Each team will play two games, with the winners advancing to the Championship game on Sunday. The loser of the Championship game will still have a chance to earn a spot in the College World Series by winning a one-game playoff on Monday.
