OIT Men’s Basketball has a rich history dating back to the early days of the game. The team was founded in 1897 and has been a staple of the college basketball landscape ever since. With a record of 23-22, the team has made 21 appearances in the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament The team’s most recent appearance was in 2017, when they lost in the first round to eventual National Champion North Carolina

In addition to their success on the court, OIT Men’s Basketball is also known for their strong academic performance. The team has consistently ranked among the top 10% of all NCAA Division I men’s basketball programs in terms of Academic Progress Rate (APR). This commitment to academic excellence has helped OIT Men’s Basketball produce 12 Academic All-Americans, more than any other NCAA Division I men’s Basketball Program

The Oregon Institute of Technology Men’s Basketball team is composed of student athletes who are dedicated to representing their school and community in a positive light. The team is currently coached by Lane junior college Head Coach Tony ingram. The roster for the 2017-2018 season is as follows:

OIT Men’s Basketball is a Division I college basketball team that represents Oregon Institute of Technology in Klamath Falls, Oregon, United States The team currently competes in the Cascade Conference, which is a part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). The team plays its home games at Danny Miles Court in OIT’s Sports Center.

Oregon Institute of Technology first fielded a men’s Basketball team in 1947. The team has appeared in two NAIA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournaments Their combined record is 0–2.

-Overall Record: 18-11
-Conference Record: 12-4 (2nd place in Cascade Conference)
-Postseason: Qualified for NAIA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament lost in Opening Round to No. 1 seed Midland University

OIT Men’s Basketball is now your new favorite team! Under the direction of head coach Michael Sistrunk, the Owls are quickly becoming a force to be reckoned with in the NCAA Division II Basketball World

In just his second year at the helm, Coach Sistrunk has led the Owls to a 20-8 record, and they are currently ranked #5 in the nation. This is an amazing feat, considering that just two years ago, the team was winless.

Coach Sistrunk’s success can be attributed to his basketball IQ, as well as his ability to connect with and motivate his players. He is a true leader, and it is evident that he cares deeply about his team and their success both on and off the court.

OIT Men’s Basketball is proud to introduce our new assistant coaches for the upcoming season!

Coach Jones comes to us with a wealth of experience, having coached at the High School and collegiate levels for over 20 years. He has a proven track record of success, and we’re excited to have him on board.

Coach Smith is a former professional player who brings a wealth of knowledge and insight to our team. He has been working with our players individually and we’re already seeing great results. We’re thrilled to have him on board.
