The OSSAA has announced the baseball districts for the 2022 season. Here is your guide to the districts and what teams will be in each one.
The Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association (OSSAA) has released the baseball districts for the 2022 season.
Ossaa baseball will be split into 6 classifications for the 2022 season. Schools will be placed in districts based on enrollment. The top 4 teams in each district will make the playoffs.
Here are the proposed district alignments for the 2022 season:
Class 6A
District 1: Broken Arrow Jenks, Owasso, Union
District 2: Edmond North Edmond Santa Fe, Mustang, Yukon
Class 5A
District 1: Bartlesville, Bixby, Booker T. Washington, Memorial
District 2: Choctaw, Guymon, Enid, Ponca City
District 3: Putnam City West Southmoore, Norman North
District 4: Carl Albert McGuinness, Deer Creek, Northwest Classen
Class 4A
District 1: Anadarko, El Reno
District 2: Claremore Sequoyah
District 3: Crossing Christian Academy
District 4: Mannford
District 5: Pocola

As the 2022 high school baseball season approaches, teams are busy preparing for their respective district tournaments. Here is a look at the Ossaa baseball districts for the upcoming season
District 1:
Teams: Bartlesville, Bixby, Broken Arrow, Claremore, Jenks, Owasso, Sand Springs Tulsa Union
District 2:
Teams: Ardmore, Carl Albert, Durant, Elk City, McAlester, Midwest City, Moore, Mustang
District 3:
Teams: Del City, Enid, Guymon, Lawton Eisenhower, Lawton MacArthur, Putnam City North
In baseball, a district is a geographical area which contains a group of schools that compete against each other for the right to advance to the State Tournament The term “district” is most often used in relation to High School sports, but can also be used for lower levels of competition, such as youth leagues.
The Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association (OSSAA) oversees high school baseball in the state of Oklahoma. The OSSAA is divided into two classes: 6A and 5A. Each class is further divided into districts. There are four districts in Class 6A and three districts in Class 5A.
The district tournament is a double-elimination tournament. The team that wins the district tournament earns the right to advance to the State Tournament The state tournament is also a double-elimination tournament. The team that wins the state tournament is crowned the state champion.

District 1: Broken Arrow, Jenks, Union
District 2: Edmond North, Edmond Santa Fe, Westmoore
District 3: Moore, Southmoore, Norman North
District 4: Midwest City, Putnam City North

Class 6A will have 22 teams divided into two districts. District 1 will consist of teams from Norman, Midwest City, and Edmond. District 2 will be made up of teams from Tulsa, Broken Arrow, and Jenks.
Class 5A will have 16 teams divided into two districts. District 1 will have teams from Ardmore, Enid, Lawton, and Woodward. District 2 will have teams from Bartlesville, Duncan, Muskogee, and Tahlequah.
Class 4A will have 14 teams divided into two districts as well. District 1 consists of teams from Blanchard, Norman North, Guthrie, and El Reno.District 2 is made up of Claremore-Sequoyah, Coweta, Grove, and Pryor.
Lastly, Class 3A will also have 14 teams but they will be divided into four districts. District 1 contains Western Heights, Anadarko, Chickasha, and Midwest City high school for Allied Health Sciences & Research Center. District 2 has Washington high school for the Performing Arts & Academic Excellence Center , Capitol Hill Magnet high school , John Marshall Mid-high school , Northeast Academy for Health Sciences & Wellness , Douglass Mid-high school , U S Grant high school , Frederick A Douglass Creative Arts West Side High School , Northeast Academy for Health Sciences & Wellness Center , Southeast Academy for Scholars Magnet Middle College Prepatory Academy , Star Spencer Senior high school . District 3 is made up of Hugo High School , Idabel High School , Kentucky Avenue Public Charter Middle College Preparatory HS/Comanche Nation College Prepatory Magnet Academy/Western Heights Public Schools Technology Center/Eastern Oklahoma State College Behavioral Health Institute Secondary Campus/Washita Heights Public Charter Schools Technology Campus . Lastly in District 4 are Cheyenne Middle College Prepatory HS/OCU Prepatory Academy/Northeastern State University RiverHawks STEAM Learning Community Dual Credit Program/Rogers State University Dual Credit Program .
The Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association (OSSAA) released the Official Baseball district assignments for the 2022 season. The district assignments are based on enrollment figures from the 2020-21 school year.
Class 6A will have 16 districts, made up of four teams each. Class 5A will have 20 districts, made up of four teams each. Class 4A will have 24 districts, made up of four teams each.

10.Tahlequah (23-4), Profes – District 1 seeds: 1. Owasso (20-5), 2. Jenks (17-8), 3. Broken Arrow (15-10), 4. Union (12-13).
Of note: Tahlequah is making its first appearance in the state tournament since winning the Class 5A title in 1999. The Tigers return to Class 5A after playing in Class 6A the last two seasons. They’re led by Kole kenyatta, who’s batting .550 with eight home runs and Dawson Marks, who’s 10-0 on the mound with a 0.48 ERA and 100 strikeouts in 60 innings pitched
