The wait is finally over and we have the Men’s Basketball Schedule for the 2019-2020 season!

The Pennsylvania State University’s men’s basketball team has released their schedule for the upcoming season The Nittany Lions will begin their season on November 6th against Kent State University Tipoff is set for 7 PM EST and the game will be broadcasted on the Big Ten Network.

This will be the first time these two teams have faced each other in basketball. Kent State finished last season with a record of 20-11, while Penn State went 15-17.

The Nittany Lions will have their home opener on November 10th against Bucknell University. That game is also set for a 7 PM EST tipoff and will be broadcasted on the Big Ten Network.

The return of some Key Players for the upcoming season

The Portland State men’s basketball team has announced their schedule for the upcoming season which features the return of some key players from last year’s squad.

Head coach Barret Peery will enter his second season at the helm of the Vikings, and he will have a number of experienced players to work with. Senior guard Deante Strickland, who was named to the Big Sky All-Conference second team last season, will be one of the leaders of the team. He will be joined by fellow seniors Bryce Cregar and Amir JJ Ricks, who both saw significant playing time last year.

The Vikings will open the season with a Home game against Simon Fraser on November 5th. They will then hit the road for a matchup with Oregon State on November 12th before returning home to take on Idaho on November 15th. The rest of their non-Conference Schedule includes games against UC Santa Barbara Weber State Montana, and Seattle.

Big Sky play will begin on December 29th when Portland State travels to Northern Arizona They will then have home games against Eastern Washington and Idaho State before hitting the road again for games at Sacramento State and Northern Colorado The Vikings will close out the regular season at home against Montana State on March 7th.

-Elisha Davis: A local product out of nearby Wilsonville, OR. Davis comes to PSU after a decorated career at Wilsonville HS where he won a state title as a junior.
-Deontae Cronin: A 6’11” center who played last season at Chemeketa Community College in Salem, OR.
