-Former Razorback Andrew Benintendi was traded to the Kansas City Royals in late February, just before spring training was shut down.
-Hog pitcher Isaiah Campbell was selected by the Chicago Cubs in the 2020 MLB Draft becoming the first Arkansas player drafted by the Cubs since 2010.
-The NCAA announced that the 2020 College World Series will be played in Omaha, Nebraska, despite concerns about the coronavirus pandemic.
-Razorback baseball coach Dave Van Horn signed a contract extension that will keep him with the team through 2024.

-The Razorbacks have landed a commitment from four-star pitcher Connor Noland. The right-hander from Greenwood, Arkansas, is ranked as the No. 2 prospect in the state and the No. 29 prospect nationally by perfect game He has a strong commitment to Arkansas, turning down offers from LSU, Florida, and other top programs
-The Hogs are also close to landing a commitment from five-star pitcher Jaden Hill The rights-hander from Little Rock, Arkansas, is ranked as the No. 1 prospect in the state and the No. 4 prospect nationally by perfect game He has offers from just about every major program in the country but is reportedly leaning towards Arkansas.
-In other recruiting news, the Razorbacks are also involved with four-star outfielder Dylan Johnson. The left-hander from Dallas, Texas, is ranked as the No. 16 prospect in Texas and the No. 122 prospect nationally by perfect game He has offers from Baylor, TCU, Texas A&M, and other top programs but is reportedly considering Arkansas as his top choice

The Arkansas Razorbacks baseball team has released their 2019 schedule. The team will start their season on February 15th with a four-game series against Eastern Illinois The following weekend, they will travel to take on the University of Notre Dame
