The star players

The star players on the View High School basketball team are Sarah Smith and John Doe Sarah is a senior and has been starting for the team for three years. She is a very talented player and has helped the team to numerous victories. John is a junior and has only been starting for the team for one year, but he has quickly become one of its most important players. He is a very good shooter and often scores the most points for the team.

The role players

The role players are the players who don’t necessarily get all of the glory, but they are just as important to the team’s success. These are the players who typically come off of the bench and provide a spark when needed. They might not score 20 points a game, but they can still have a big impact on the game.

good example of a role player is junior guard, Jenna Johnson. She is averaging 8.5 points per game and is one of the team’s best defenders. She also does a great job of filling in for starters when they need a break. Other role players include sophomore forward, Sarah Miller and junior guard, Emily Robbins.

The bench players for Skyview High School’s Varsity Basketball team are:

-Jamal Wilks

The coach

Patty Mills is in her first season as Head Coach of the Skyview high school varsity basketball team Mills took over the program this past offseason, replacing longtime coach John Doe.

Mills is a Skyview alumna, having played on the school’s state championship team in 1996. She then went on to play collegiately at the University of Washington where she was a four-year starter and helped the Huskies to four consecutive NCAA tournament appearances. After finishing her playing career, Mills spent several years as an Assistant Coach at the collegiate and professional levels before returning to her alma mater to take over the program.

Under Mills’ leadership, the team has compiled a record of 17-5 overall and 11-3 in league play. The team is currently ranked No. 5 in the state in Class 4A and is eyeing a return to the State Tournament for the first time since 2016.

The team’s strengths

The team’s strengths are its excellent ball handling and shooting. It has some of the best shooters in the league, and its point guard is one of the quickest players in the game. They are also a very good rebounding team.

The team’s weaknesses

Although the team has good ball handlers, they lack a true point guard who can run the offense and direct traffic on the court. The team’s forwards are also undersized, which could be a problem when they face taller opponents. In addition, the team has not yet developed a consistent outside shooting game.

The team’s schedule

The season is just beginning, but the team has already started to make a name for themselves. So far they have played against some of the toughest competition in the state and have come out on top. Their next game is against their biggest rival, and they are looking to continue their Winning Streak

The team’s prospects for the season

The Skyview high school basketball team is off to a strong start this season. With a record of 12-2, they are currently ranked second in the state. They have wins against some of the top teams in the state, including Bellevue and Redmond.

The team is led by senior guard Matt Johnson, who is averaging 18 points per game Other key contributors include junior forwards Josh Carter and Jason Hardy, who are averaging 14 and 12 points per game respectively.

The team’s success so far this season has been due to their strong defense. They are allowing an average of only 60 points per game which is one of the best marks in the state. Additionally, they have been able to force turnovers and create easy scoring opportunities for themselves.

If the team can continue to play at a high level, they should have no problem making a deep run in the State Tournament

Conclusion

Although the team didn’t win the championship this year, they showed a lot of growth and promise for next season. The underclassmen on the team really stepped up and contributed, and the seniors provided leadership and guidance. With a year of experience under their belts, this team will be one to watch out for next season. Thanks for following us throughout the year, and we’ll see you next season!
