Bruce Pearl is the new head coach of the Tigers. He comes to Auburn after serving as the Head Coach at University of Tennessee for six seasons. Prior to that, Pearl was the Head coach at Milwaukee for one season and at Iowa State for two seasons. He has a career record of 383-155 (.712).

Assistant coaches for the Tigers include Chuck Person, Corey Harris, Wes Flanigan and Tony Jones Person is in his second stint with Auburn, having served as an Assistant Coach from 2014-17. Harris is in his first season with the Tigers after spending last season as an assistant coach at George Mason University. Flanigan is also in his first season at Auburn after serving as an assistant coach at UAB last season. Jones rounds out the staff and is in his second season with Auburn.

Head coach Bruce Pearl has done an excellent job of revitalizing the Auburn Basketball Program since he took over in 2014. The Tigers have made the NCAA tournament in each of the last three seasons, including a trip to the Final Four in 2019. They are also currently ranked No. 5 in the AP poll, with their sights set on a deep tournament run this March.
