Here is a breakdown of the new schedule:

Each team will play four games against each of the other seven teams in the conference.

Teams will play two games against each of the three teams in their division (East, West, or Central).

Teams will play one game against each of the four teams in the opposite division.

The conference tournament will be held May 24-26 at a neutral site. The top eight teams in the Conference Standings will qualify for the tournament.

Atlanta Braves vs. Washington Nationals
This is one of the newest rivalries in baseball, but it’s already heated. The two teams have been division rivals since 2012, and they’ve developed a strong dislike for each other over the years. The Braves have had the upper hand so far, winning 9 of the 13 games they’ve played against the Nationals. But with Stephen Strasburg and Max Scherzer leading the way, the Nats are looking to turn things around this year. Keep an eye on this one, it’s sure to be a good one.

Miami Marlins vs. Tampa Bay Rays
This is another relatively new rivalry, but it’s been a fun one to watch over the past few years. The Rays and Marlins have been division rivals since 2013, and they’ve developed a healthy dislike for each other. The Rays have had the upper hand so far, winning 10 of the 14 games they’ve played against the Marlins. But with Giancarlo Stanton and Jose Fernandez leading the way, the Marlins are looking to turn things around this year. Keep an eye on this one, it’s sure to be a good one.
