Introducing the UC Riverside Baseball Schedule

The UC Riverside Highlanders are a Division I college baseball team that competes in the Big West Conference. The Highlanders were founded in 1954 and have been playing baseball since 1957. The team has never won a conference championship or made an appearance in the NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament The Highlanders play their home games at the Riverside Sports Complex which is located on the campus of UC Riverside in Riverside, California.

The 2019 UC Riverside Baseball Schedule is now available. The Highlanders will play a total of 56 games this season, 27 of which will be played at home and 29 on the road. conference play will begin on March 8th when the Highlanders travel to Santa Barbara to take on the Gauchos of UC Santa Barbara The home opener is scheduled for March 15th against the Cal State Fullerton Titans. Other notable games on the schedule include a three-game series against the defending National Champions the Oregon State Beavers and a four-game series against fellow Big West Conference foe, the Long Beach State Dirtbags.

Fullerton has won eight of the last 10 meetings between these two teams, so UC Riverside will have to play well if they want to come away with a win.

June 7-9: UC Riverside vs. Long Beach State
These two teams have been playing each other since long before any of the current players were born, so there is no love lost between them. The Dirtbags are always a tough out, and this year should be no different. Long Beach State has won four straight conference titles, so UC Riverside will have to be at their best if they want to end that streak.

– May 12th vs. Long Beach State This is another rivalry game that is sure to be a lot of fun. It is also Bark in the Park night, so fans can bring their dogs to the game!
