Vanderbilt Basketball

The Vanderbilt Commodores men’s basketball team represents Vanderbilt University in the SEC. The Commodores have won a National Championship in men’s basketball and have been to the Final Four on three occasions. The team is currently coached by Jerry Stackhouse

The 2019-20 Vanderbilt men’s Basketball Roster is loaded with talent, experience, and potential. The team will look to build on last year’s success and make a run at the NCAA tournament Here are some of the players to Watch This Season

-Senior guard Saben Lee is the leader of the team and one of the best scoring guards in the SEC. He averaged 16.5 points per game last season and will be looking to improve on that number this year.
-Junior forward Matthew Fisher-Davis is one of the best shooters in the country and he proved it last season, shooting 42% from three-point range He averaged 11.8 points per game and will be counted on to score even more this year.
-Sophomore guard Maxwell Evans showed flashes of greatness last season as a freshman, averaging 9.3 points per game He has the potential to be a great two-way player for the Commodores and will be key to their success this season.
-Freshman center Dylan Disu is one of the most talented recruits in recent years for Vanderbilt. He has great size and athleticism and should be able to make an immediate impact for the team.

The Vanderbilt Basketball team has a lot of key games coming up in the upcoming season Here are some of the most important ones:

-The season opener against USC on November 10th. This will be the first chance for the team to show what they can do against a tough opponent.
