Head coach Craig Doty has built Washburn into a perennial contender, and he’s done it with a core of players that have been with the program for four or five years. That group includes stars like forward Alex North, who was named the MIAA Player of the Year last season, and guard Devin Holmes, who was named to the All-MIAA first team.

The Ichabods have also gotten great production from players like forward Mark Johnson and guard Austin Reid, who were both named to the All-MIAA second team last season. And they’ve gotten contributions from role players like forward Luke Hutton and guard Jaden McBride.

With this group of players leading the way, Washburn is poised for another run at an MIAA title this season.
