In the National Semifinal game, they defeated Kentucky to reach their first National Championship game in ten years. In the National Championship game, they defeated top-seeded Florida to win their fourth NCAA title.

The 2014 Uconn Basketball team are the Men’s National Basketball Tournament Champions. The Huskies have won the tournament for the second time in school history, and their first time since 2011.

The team played in a total of six games, winning all of them. They started off the tournament by beating St. Francis (PA) 79-62 in the First Four. In the Round of 64, they destroyed Villanova 73-65. Their next game was against Iowa State which they won easily 81-76.

In the Elite Eight, they had a rematch against their old rivals, the Kentucky Wildcats Uconn won 60-54 in a very close game Their final game was against Michigan State in the Final Four. The Huskies won easily again, this time by a score of 82-81 to become National Champions
