Cleveland Cavaliers win 2019 NBA Draft Lottery

The Cleveland Cavaliers have won the 2019 NBA Draft Lottery. The Cavs will have the first overall pick in the 2019 NBA draft which will be held on June 20.

This is the second time in franchise history that the Cavaliers have won the lottery, and the first time since they selected Lebron James first overall in 2003.

The Cavs finished the 18-19 season with a 19-63 record, tied for the Worst Record in the NBA.

Zion Williamson to the New Orleans Pelicans

The New Orleans Pelicans won the lottery for the No. 1 pick in the 2019 NBA draft The Zion Williamson sweepstakes are now over, and the Pelicans will have the first chance to select the transcendent Duke star.

This is a big deal for New Orleans, which has been rebuilding since trading Anthony Davis to the Los Angeles Lakers last summer. The Pelicans also own the No. 4 overall pick, which they acquired in the Davis trade, giving them a great chance to add two more young studs to their core of Williamson, Ingram, Ball and holiday.

Ja Morant, a 6-foot-3 point guard from Murray State is widely considered to be the best player in the draft. The 19-year-old averaged 24.5 points and 10 assists per game last season.

The point guard only played five games in his one and only collegiate season due to a meniscus injury that he suffered in his left knee. Coby White to the Chicago Bulls

With the 7th pick in the 2019 NBA draft the Chicago Bulls selected Coby White a point guard out of the University of North Carolina This marks the second time in franchise history that the Bulls have drafted a point guard in the lottery, after selecting Jay Williams with the 2nd overall pick in 2002.

Coby White is known for his high scoring and shooting ability, as well as his speed and quickness. He averaged 22 points per game during his freshman season at UNC, leading the Tar Heels to a 29-7 record and an appearance in the NCAA tournament In Chicago, he will join a young core that includes fellow 2019 draft picks Zach LaVine and Lauri Markkanen.
