The 2019-2020 Schedule

The 2019-2020 schedule has been released and there are some key games you don’t want to miss. Here is what you need to know.

The Griz will open the season at home against Montana State on November 5th. The next big game is on December 18th when the Griz take on the University of Oregon in Eugene.

January will be a busy month for the Griz with home games against Idaho State Weber State and Sacramento State The Griz will also travel to Moscow, Idaho to take on the University of Idaho on January 25th.

February will be another big month for the Griz with home games against Eastern Washington and Portland State The Griz will also travel to Bozeman to take on Montana State on February 29th.

The wait is finally over! Griz Basketball season starts tonight and we couldn’t be more excited. Here’s what you need to know about the Griz’s first game of the season.

Who: The Griz will be facing off against the University of Montana Western Bulldogs in their season opener

When: The game will tip-off at 7:00 p.m. on November 10th.

Where: The game will be held at Dahlberg Arena on the University of Montana campus in Missoula, Montana.

Tickets: Tickets are still available and can be purchased online or at the arena box office on the day of the game.

Home Games

The Griz will play at home in the Dahlberg Arena eight times this season. Their first Home game is on November 5th against the University of Montana-Western.

The Griz have a very tough schedule this season and their home games will be crucial if they want to make it to the NCAA Tournament Some of their key home games are against conference rivals such as the University of Montana, Weber State University and Idaho State University

Make sure you mark your calendars and get your tickets early because these games are sure to be sellouts!

Away Games

The University of Montana men’s basketball team will play 16 away games this season. The first away game is against Idaho State University on November 6th. The team will then travel to take on Weber State University on November 10th. They will finish their short road trip with a game against Portland State University on November 13th.

UM’s next longest road trip will be in early December when they play at the University of Colorado on December 4th, then at the University of New Mexico on December 8th, before finishing up at Grand Canyon University on December 10th.

After a brief return home for exams, the Griz will be back on the road to take on Eastern Washington University on December 18th and Sacramento State University on December 22nd. Their final road game of 2016 will be against the University of Idaho on December 29th.

The team starts off 2017 with three Home Games before hitting the road again for a matchup with Northern Arizona University on January 7th. They’ll stay in Arizona to take on Southern Utah University two days later before returning home for a three-game homestand.

UM’s next longest road trip of the season comes in late January when they travel to Montana State University onJanuary 27th, then to Northern Colorado University on January 31st, and finally to theUniversity of North Dakota on February 2nd.

The Griz have one more lengthy road trip in February, starting with a game at Idaho Stateon February 10th, followed by contests at Weber Stateon February 14th and Portland Stateon February 16th.

Montana finishes up its regular season schedule with five of its last seven games at home, beginning with a game against Eastern Washingtonon February 24th.
