These are the teams that have qualified for the playoffs.

The much-anticipated Florida high school Basketball Playoffs are finally here! After a long and hard-fought regular season these are the teams that have qualified for the postseason:

In Class 4A, the teams that have qualified are as follows:
-Bishop Verot High School
-Blanche Ely High School
--Florida high School
-Miami Norland Senior High School
-Jacksonville Raines High School

In Class 3A, the following teams have qualified for the playoffs:
--Fort Myers Dunbar High School
-Gainesville P.K. Yonge Developmental Research School
-Palmetto Ridge High School
-Ribault Senior High School
-Tampa Catholic High School

In Class 2A, these are the teams that have qualified:
-PaxonSchool for Advanced Studies Jacksonville, FL

The Florida high school Basketball Playoff Bracket has been released and there are some interesting first-round games. In Class 9A, #8 seed Dr. Phillips will take on #9 seed Cypress Creek. The two teams met earlier this season with Dr. Phillips winning by 14 points.

In Class 8A, #7 seed Bartram Trail will take on #10 seed Fleming Island This will be a rematch of last year’s Playoff Game which Bartram Trail won by 12 points.

Class 7A will see #6 seed Olympia taking on #11 seed Ridgeview. These two teams met earlier this season with Olympia winning by 11 points.

Class 6A will feature a battle of ten teams as #5 seed Creekside takes on #12seed Miami Norland. Norland is the only team in the state that has not lost a game this season.

The first round of the playoffs is scheduled to begin on February 6th.

1. Zion Williamson Duke University commit and senior at Spartanburg Day School is one of the top-rated recruits in the country. He’s a 6’7″ forward with an incredible blend of power and athleticism, and he’s capable of playing above the rim with ease. Williamson is averaging 27.8 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game this season.

2. RJ Barrett, another Duke University commit and Williamson’s teammate at Spartanburg Day School, is another one of the top recruits in the country. He’s a 6’7″ wing with superb scoring ability and a High Basketball IQ. Barrett is averaging 26.3 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists per game this season.

3. Sidney Powell, a senior at Ribault High School is one of the best shooters in the state of Florida. She’s a pure stroke from beyond the arc and can score in bunches when she gets hot. Powell is averaging 21 points per game this season and has verbally committed to play collegiately at Vanderbilt University

4. Fletcher Magee, a senior at The Benjamin School, is one of the best three-point shooters in Florida high school basketball history. He’s currently sitting at 2nd all-time in career three-pointers made (491) and needs just nine more to break the state record. Additionally, Magee is averaging 29 points per game this season and has already surpassed 2,000 career points scored He’ll be suiting up for Wofford College next year
