He played five seasons in the Orioles’ organization before being released in 1987. He then played four seasons with the Yomiuri Giants of Nippon professional baseball (NPB) in Japan from 1988-1991. In 1992, he returned to Major League Baseball (MLB) with the Chicago White Sox and also played for the Milwaukee Brewers and Detroit Tigers during his MLB career. He retired from Professional Baseball after the 1998 season.
