Aamu’s recent success

Recently, the Aamu baseball team has seen a lot of success.
In the past couple years, the team has made it to the Division I level and has seen marked improvement in its performance.
This year, the team is off to a great start, with a record of 22-6.

The team’s Head Coach Chris Drury, attributes much of the team’s success to the hard work of the players and staff. “Everyone involved with the program has put in a lot of time and effort to get us where we are,” he said.

Drury also mentioned that the team’s recent success is due in part to the increased level of competition they are facing. “We’ve been able to play some really good teams and that has made us better,” he said.

The Aamu Baseball Team is certainly one to watch in the coming years. With their hard work and dedication, they are sure to continue seeing success at the Division I level.

Aamu’s recruiting class

Aamu Baseball is proud to announce its recruiting class for the 2019-2020 Season This group of young men comes from all over the country and we are excited to have them join the Aamu family. We believe this group has the potential to be one of the best classes in program history.

These student-athletes have been recruited to Aamu because of their potential on the field and in the classroom. They will have an opportunity to contribute right away and we are looking forward to seeing what they can do.

Aamu’s coaching staff

The Aamu baseball coaching staff is led by head coach Gabe Sinopoli. In his first year as Head Coach Sinopoli led the team to a divisional title and a berth in the NCAA Division I tournament.

Aamu’s assistant coaches are Brian Polk, who also serves as the team’s pitching coach; hitting coach Jordan Stowers; and defensive coordinator/Infield Coach Ryan Nielsen.

Aamu baseball’s on-campus facility is world-class, and our team has access to the best resources in the country. Our training and development programs are second to none, and our team is constantly improving. We are Division I Baseball and we are on the rise.

Aamu’s fan support

In just its third season of existence, Aamu Baseball has seen a meteoric rise in Fan support. The team drew just under 3,000 fans in 2016, its inaugural season. In 2017, that number jumped to over 6,000. This year, the team is on pace to draw over 10,000 fans.

Aamu’s conference

The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) is a collegiate athletic conference whose full members are Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) in the southeastern United States It participates in the National Collegiate Athletic Association’s (NCAA) Division I, and in football, Division I FCS.

Aamu’s rivals

Aamu’s rivals in the always tough Sunshine State Conference (SSC) are no strangers to the postseason either. Tampa, the defending SSC champions, have made 25 NCAA Tournament appearances, while Florida Tech has been to 15 NCAA tournaments. Jacksonville University also in the Aamu’s conference, has made nine trips to the NCAA tournament

Aamu in the national spotlight

The Alabama A&M University (AAMU) baseball team had a historic 2019 season. The team won the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) regular season championship and made their first appearance in the NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament They finished the season with a 35-24 record, the most wins in program history.

As a result of their success, the AAMU baseball team has been receiving national attention They were featured in an article on ESPN.com and were ranked as high as No. 28 in the country by perfect game USA.

The AAMU Baseball Team is on the rise and is quickly becoming a force to be reckoned with at the Division I level.

Aamu’s future

Aamu baseball is on the rise. After a few years of rebuilding, the team has slowly but surely been climbing back up the ranks of Division I programs. This year, they are poised to make a run at the postseason.

The team is led by a core group of seniors who have been with the program since its rebuild began. They have seen the team through some tough times, and they are ready to reap the benefits of their hard work The pitching staff is deep and experienced, and the lineup is potent from top to bottom.
