The Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) is a collegiate athletic conference in the United States of America in which its fifteen member universities compete in the National Collegiate Athletic Association’s (NCAA) Division I, with its football teams competing in the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS). The ACC sponsors competition in twenty-five sports with many of its member institutions’ athletic programs held in high regard nationally. ACC men’s basketball teams have combined to win eight NCAA Men’s Division I basketball championships and appeared in eighteen Final Fours, more than any other conference. Additionally, they have won thirteen ACC Championships, which is fourth-most all-time.

He is averaging 16 points and 8 rebounds per game He has also been one of the most efficient players in the conference, shooting 58% from the field and 46% from three-point range Estrella has helped lead Syracuse to a great season and they are currently ranked #2 in the ACC.
2. Tyrese Maxey Kentucky Maxey has been one of the best freshmen in the country this season. He is averaging 14 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 assists per game He is also shooting 40% from three-point range. Maxey has been a big part of Kentuckys success this season and they are currently ranked #1 in the SEC.
3. Cole Anthony UNC Anthony was named the Preseason ACC Player of the Year and he has lived up to the hype so far this season. He is averaging 19 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists per game Anthony is also shooting 37% from three-point range. UNC has struggled at times this season but they are still ranked #4 in the ACC thanks in large part to Anthonys play.
4. Jordan Nwora Louisville Nwora has been one of the best scorers in the country this season, averaging 20 points per game while shooting 45% from three-point range. He is also averaging 7 rebounds per game Nwora has helped lead Louisville to a great season and they are currently ranked #3 in the ACC behind only Syracuse and Duke
5. Cassius Winston, Michigan State Winston is one of the best point guards in the country and he has been very good once again this season for Michigan State He is averaging 18 points and 7 assists per game while shooting 41% from three-point range. Winston has helped lead Michigan State to a great season and they are currently ranked #5 in the nation behind only Duke, Gonzaga, Baylor, and Kansas

They finished 2nd in the regular season standings and made it all the way to the ACC Championship game This is a team that could make some noise in March.
1. Duke- The Blue Devils are once again atop the ACC standings, but they’re far from a perfect team. They’ve lost games to unranked opponents, and they don’t have any signature wins outside of their victory over Kentucky. However, Duke is still one of the best teams in the country, and they’ll be a force to be reckoned with come tournament time.

The Syracuse men’s basketball team is the most disappointing team in the ACC this season. The team was expected to compete for an ACC title, but finished the regular season with a 14-16 record. The team also lost in the first round of the ACC tournament

The ACC Basketball All-Conference Teams are selected at the end of the Regular Season by a vote of the league’s 12 head coaches. The All-ACC first and second teams were first introduced in 1954, when the conference consisted of just eight members. Since then, the all-conference teams have been expanded to include a total of 25 players (15 on the first team and 10 on the second).
As ACC Basketball continues to grow and evolve, so too does the all-conference team. In recent years the league has expanded to include 12 teams and two divisional winners. The all-conference team now features 15 players (five from each division) on the first team and 10 players on the second team.
In order to be eligible for selection to the All-ACC team, a player must have competed in at least 75 percent of his team’s games and be a starter or key reserve. Additionally, each player must have averaged at least 14 points, four rebounds, two assists and one steal per game.

The ACC Basketball Tournament is a conference men’s Basketball Tournament that takes place every year at the end of the regular season The winner of the tournament earns the conference’s automatic bid to the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament
The tournament has been held every year since its inception in 1954. It was originally created as a way to determine the conference’s Regular Season champion, as there was no coast-to-Coast Conference like there is today.
The ACC is currently made up of 15 teams: Boston College Clemson, Duke, Florida State Georgia Tech Louisville, Miami, UNC, NC State, Notre Dame Pittsburgh, Syracuse, Virginia, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest
Over the years, the ACC has seen many Great players and teams come through its ranks. Some of the most notable include Michael Jordan (UNC), Tim Duncan (Wake Forest), Grant Hill (Duke), and Jerry West (WVU).
