2017-18 Postseason Schedule
The Army West Point Black Knights men’s basketball team will enter the 2017-18 Season looking to build on their success from last year. The Black Knights finished the 2016-17 campaign with a 21-13 overall record and an 8-8 mark in league play, good for fifth place in the Patriot League Army went on to win the Patriot League Tournament Championship earning the conference’s automatic bid to the NCAA tournament The Black Knights fell to North Carolina in the first round of the NCAA Tournament ending their season with a 21-14 overall record.
This season, Army will look to defend their Patriot League Tournament championship and earn a return trip to the NCAA tournament The Black Knights will enter the season with high expectations, as they are returning all five starters from last year’s team. Army will open their season with a Home game against Siena on November 10th. The Black Knights will then play eight of their next nine games on the road, including a three-game swing through California in late November/early December. Army’s non-Conference Schedule also features home games against Stony Brook Hofstra, Canisius, and Norfolk State
After opening Patriot League play on December 30th at home against Navy, Army will play five of their next seven league games on the road. The Black Knights’ Patriot League Schedule features home games against Bucknell, Lehigh, Loyola (MD), Colgate, and Holy Cross Army will close out their regular season schedule with a home game against American on March 3rd before beginning postseason play in the Patriot League Tournament
