The Auburn baseball roster for 2019 is looking pretty good this season. With some new players and some old favorites, we’re looking forward to another great season!
2019 Roster
The Auburn baseball team represents Auburn University in NCAA Division I college baseball The Tigers compete in the Western division of the Eastern Conference (SEC). They are currently coached by Butch Thompson and play their home games at Plainsman Park.
As of the start of the 2019 season, the Tigers have appeared in thirteen College World Series winning once in 1997. They have also won twelve SEC tournament championships and twelve SEC regular season championships. The team has played in thirty-eight NCAA tournaments, including seventeen straight from 1997 to 2013.

2019 Schedule
The Auburn Tigers baseball team will play its 2019 season from February through May. The team will play 34 home games and 30 away games, for a total of 64 games. Below is the Tigers’ 2019 schedule.

2019 Results
The Auburn baseball team represents Auburn University in NCAA Division I college baseball Auburn competes in the West Division of the 14-team Eastern Conference (SEC). The Tigers play their home games on campus at Plainsman Park, and are currently coached by Butch Thompson. As of the start of the 2019 season, Auburn has appeared in 24 NCAA Division I Men’s College World Series and has won 2 National Championships (in 2010 and 2013).

The 2019 Auburn Tigers Baseball Team represents Auburn University in the 2019 NCAA Division I baseball season The Tigers play their home games at Plainsman Park on the university’s Auburn, Alabama campus, and are members of the Western Division of the Eastern Conference (SEC). They are led by Head Coach Butch Thompson, in his seventh year at Auburn.
Auburn finished the 2018 season 34–26 overall, 15–15 in SEC play to finish in fourth place in the Western Division. They qualified for the SEC Tournament as the Western Division’s No. 5 seed. They defeated Vanderbilt and Florida to advance to the semifinals where they lost to Ole Miss They did not receive an invite to participate in any of the NCAA postseason tournaments

2019 Coaching Staff
Auburn Baseball will have a new look to its Coaching Staff in 2019 as head coach Butch Thompson has made several changes. Pitching coach Steve Smith and hitting coach Doug Sisson will not return, while Assistant Coach Greg Norton has been promoted to pitching coach and context coordinator Casey Dunn has been hired as hitting coach.
Blake Butler will serve as the program’s director of player development and analytics.

Auburn has won five SEC championships (1930, 1997, 1999, 2000, 2019), and has appeared in ten NCAA tournaments. The program has produced two MLB Most Valuable Players (MVPs) in Tim Hudson and Josh Donaldson.

2019 Awards
The 2019 Auburn baseball team represented Auburn University in the 2019 NCAA Division I baseball season The Tigers played their home games at Plainsman Park and were led by fifth-year head coach Butch Thompson. They finished the season 45–16, 18–12 in SEC play to finish tied for fourth place in the Western Division. They qualified for the SEC Tournament as the No. 7 seed where they defeated Tennessee and Ole Miss before losing to Arkansas in the semifinals.
The team qualified for the NCAA tournament as a No. 5 seed and were selected as a host site. They defeated Northeastern and North Carolina State in the Auburn Regional to advance to a Super Regional for the third time in school history, where they lost two games to Florida State
On June 26, 2019, after defeating Florida State in game 2 of the Super Regional Auburn won its first ever College World Series Championship by defeating Vanderbilt 2-1 in game 3, becoming only the second school from Alabama to win a College World Series Championship (joining Alabama).

Dan Barto is in his first season as head coach of the Tigers.
Auburn has won five SEC championships (1985, 1997, 2000, 2002 and 2019) and finished as runner-up six times. They have participated in the NCAA Tournament twenty-six times, with a record of 43–25. Auburn has appeared in the College World Series six times, most recently in 2019, and finished as runner-up twice (1997 and 2000). They are currently coached by Butch Thompson.
