The Anaheim Ducks

The Los Angeles Kings

The Kings’ home rink is Staples Center which they share with their local NBA rival, the Los Angeles Clippers The franchise began on 1966 as an expansion team along with the Minnesota North Stars and the Pittsburgh Penguins The Kings have appeared in the Stanley Cup Finals three times, winning twice in 2012 and 2014.

The San Jose Sharks

The San Jose Sharks are a professional ice Hockey Team based in San Jose California. They are members of the Pacific Division of the Western Conference of the National Hockey League (NHL). The Sharks began play in 1991 as an expansion team, and have made the playoffs 21 times in their 25 seasons.

The California Golden Seals were a professional Ice hockey team in the National Hockey League (NHL) from 1967 to 1976. Originally based in the San Francisco Bay Area the team moved to Cleveland, Ohio, in 1976 and became the Cleveland Barons. The franchise was eventually merged with the Minnesota North Stars

The Seals were one of six teams added to the NHL in the 1967 expansion, along with the Los Angeles Kings, Minnesota North Stars Pittsburgh Penguins Philadelphia Flyers and St. Louis Blues Based in Oakland, California, they played their home games at the Oakland Coliseum Arena (later known as the Oracle Arena). The Coliseum was shared with the National Football League’s Oakland Raiders until 1971 when baseball’s Oakland Athletics took over as co-tenants for two seasons before relocating elsewhere.

The Seals never particularly well on the ice, posting only two winning seasons in their nine-year existence; they failed to make the playoffs six times and never advanced beyond the second round of the playoffs.
