With the Stanley Cup playoffs underway, we thought it would be a good time to take a look at which Canadian Hockey teams are in the NHL. As it turns out, all seven Canadian teams made the playoffs this year!

-The Ottawa Senators are one of Canada’s newer franchises, having joined the league in 1992. They’ve been to the Stanley Cup Finals twice, losing to the Anaheim Ducks in 2007 and to the Chicago Blackhawks in 2006.
-The Vancouver Canucks are another popular Canadian team that has never won a Stanley Cup They came close in 2011, losing to the Boston Bruins in Game 7 of the Finals.
-The Winnipeg Jets joined the NHL in 2011 after spending several years in Atlanta as the Thrashers. They haven’t had much success on the ice since returning to Winnipeg, but they remain a popular team among Canadian hockey fans
