CSI Baseball Releases Their Schedule for the Upcoming Season

The CSI Baseball Team has released their schedule for the upcoming season The team will be playing a total of 32 games, with 16 of those being home games The season will begin on February 28th and end on May 11th.

Some of the highlights of the schedule include a Home game against the University of Connecticut on March 11th, as well as an away game against defending National Champions Miami University on April 3rd.

The team is looking to build off of their success from last season, when they finished with a record of 25-7. Head Coach Tony Abbatine is entering his seventh season at the helm of the program, and he is excited to see what his team can do this year.

“Our goal every year is to win a conference championship and make it to the NCAA tournament ” said Abbatine. “We have a lot of returning players from last year’s team that made it to the regional finals, so I think we have a good chance to make some noise this season.”

The College of Staten Island baseball team has announced their schedule for the upcoming season The Dolphins will play a total of 36 games, with 27 of those being played at home. They will face off against 12 non-conference opponents, as well as all 9 CUNYAC teams.

CSI Baseball Set to Begin Their Season

The College of Staten Island baseball team has announced their schedule for the upcoming season The Dolphins will begin their season on the road, as they travel to Sarah Lawrence College for a doubleheader on Saturday, March 3. First pitch is set for 12:00 pm.

This will be the first of four straight weekends that CSI will be on the road to open the season. The team’s home opener is not until Saturday, March 24, when they will host Lehman College in a doubleheader at the CSI Baseball Complex starting at 12:00 pm.

The Cougars will be playing a total of 30 home games this season, with 17 of those being conference games. Some of the key matchups that you won’t want to miss include:

Get Excited for the 2019 CSI Baseball Season – The Schedule is Out!

The College of Staten Island Baseball Team is gearing up for their 2019 season and they have just released their schedule. Get excited for another great year of action-packed CSI baseball!

Some of the highlights on the docket include a home-and-home series with Division II power Franklin Pierce University, taking on fellow CUNYAC rivals Lehman College and Hunter College, and a four-game home stand to open the season against Division III foes Farmingdale State Farmingdale State,Purchase College, andasserts Mendocino.

The Dolphins will also take part in three tournaments this season, highlighted by a trip to Clermont, Florida for the RussMatt Invitational – one of the nation’s most prestigous Division III baseball events – where they will compete against some of the best teams in the country. Additionally, the Dolphins will host their own charging into March Tournament at the CSI Baseball Complex and take part in Purchase’s Panther Classic Baseball Tournament

The College of Staten Island’s (CSI) Baseball team is gearing up for their upcoming 2019 season! Check out their schedule below to see when they’ll be playing near you.

The Dolphins will open up their season on the road on Saturday, March 2nd against Rowan University, followed by a match-up against Kean University the very next day. They’ll return home to Staten Island for their first home game of the season on Tuesday, March 5th against NJCU.

Other notable games during the regular season include a rematch against Rowan University on Wednesday, April 3rd and a game against crosstown rivals Wagner College on Tuesday, April 23rd. The CSI baseball team will also be playing in the 2019 CUNYAC Baseball Championship from May 1st-4th. Be sure to check out their schedule and come out to support your CSI Dolphins!
