CSUMB Baseball Standings

As of February 3, 2019, the CSUMB baseball team is in 1st place in the California Collegiate Athletic Association with a conference record of 7-1. The team’s overall record is 8-3.

CSUMB Baseball Stats

The CSUMB Otters baseball team is back and looking to build on last year’s historic run to the CCAA tournament. Check out the team’s schedule, stats, and more below.

As conference play begins, the Otters sit at 11-5 overall and 2-1 in the CCAA. The team is averaging 5.9 runs per game and has a .297 batting average On the mound, the Otters have a 3.76 ERA and have struck out 129 batters in 124 innings pitched

CSUMB Baseball Players

The CSUMB Baseball Team is composed of student-athletes who have demonstrated their skills on the field. The team is coached by Jason Johnson, who has helmed the program since its inception in 2006. The team competes in Division II of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA).

CSUMB Baseball Coach

The CSUMB Baseball team is back for another season and looking to build on their success from last year. The team is coached by Justin Kominek, who is entering his second season at the helm of the program.

The team will play their home games at the newly renovated Baysoft Stadium, which underwent a major facelift prior to the start of last season. The Improvements to the stadium included a new Turf Field an expanded concourse, and a new state-of-the-art press box.

The team’s schedule is highlighted by several key games, including a three-game series against conference rival UC Riverside and a four-game homestand against Cal State Fullerton The team will also travel to Texas for a two-game series against Texas A&M Corpus Christi
