The Emory baseball season runs from February through May. The team will play a mix of conference and non-conference games. Conference games are always played on weekends, so be sure to check the schedule in advance so you can plan your trip to the ballpark accordingly. Here is the schedule for the upcoming season

The Team
The Emory University baseball team is composed of 29 student-athletes, representing 18 states and Puerto Rico The team is made up of 12 pitchers, four outfielders, six infielders, and one catcher. The average GPA of a player on the team is 3.42 and the team’s collective GPA is 3.31.
The Schedule
The Emory Baseball Schedule is packed with games this season. Here is your guide to the schedule, so you can catch your favorite team in action.
The Emory Eagles will take on their rivals the University of Georgia Bulldogs in a three-game series on March 3-5. The first game will be at 2 PM on Friday at Turner Field, home of the Atlanta Braves Saturday’s game will be at 1 PM at UGA’s Foley Field, and the series will wrap up on Sunday at 1 PM back at Turner Field.
On March 7, the Eagles will face off against the Kennesaw State Owls at 6:30 PM at home at Chappell Park. Tickets for this game are available now through the Emory Athletics website.
Emory will host a tournament from March 10-12, with games against Lagrange College Midlands collegiate athletic conference rival Spalding University, and Millsaps College. On March 10, the first game of the tournament will be against LaGrange at 3:30 PM. The second game of the day will be between Spalding and Millsaps at 6:30 PM. The tournament will continue on Saturday with a game between LaGrange and Spalding at 11 AM, followed by Emory vs. Millsaps at 2 PM. The final game of the tournament will be played on Sunday at 1 PM between Emory and LaGrange. All games during the tournament will be played at Chappell Park.
The Eagles’ next Home game after the tournament will be on Tuesday, March 14 against Oglethorpe University at 6:30 PM. Tickets for this game are available now through the Emory Athletics website.
The Field
The Emory baseball team plays its home games at the beautiful Chappell Park. The ballpark, which has a capacity of 500 fans, is located on the campus of Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.
Chappell Park is equipped with a press box, concession stand and restrooms. The playing surface is made of artificial turf, and the dimensions of the field are 200 feet from home plate to center field, and 220 feet from Foul Line to Foul Line

For Emory baseball there are a few key rivalries that stand out each season. Here is your guide to the most intense (and fun!) games of the year:
Emory vs. Georgia Tech This rivalry dates back to 1886, making it one of the oldest in college baseball The two teams have met almost 200 times on the diamond, with Emory holding a slight edge in the series. These days, the games are always competitive and tend to come down to the wire. You can be sure that both teams will be giving it their all when they take on their biggest rival.
Emory vs. Oglethorpe: This is another long-standing rivalry, dating back to 1897. The two teams have met almost 200 times as well, with Emory again holding a slight edge in the series. However, Oglethorpe has had more recent success against their rivals, winning seven of the last 10 meetings between the two squads. This is always a heated contest, with both fan bases eager to see their team come out on top.

The Emory Baseball Team has a long tradition of success, and the team is looking to continue that this season. The Eagles have won 12 conference titles and made 11 appearances in the NCAA Division III World Series
This year, the team is led by senior captain Nate Collins. Collins is a three-time All-American and was named the National Player of the Year last season. He will be joined by fellow seniors Kyle Krick and Ryan Rittmaster, who are also All-Americans.
The team will open its season on February 9th with a three-game series against Averett University The Eagles will then travel to Florida for a ten-day trip, where they will play games against some of the top teams in Division III After returning from Florida, the team will play its first home games of the season on March 8th against Oglethorpe University.

The Media
As the Emory baseball team looks to build on their successful season last year, the team has been working hard to prepare for their upcoming campaign. The team has made some changes to their roster and their schedule, and they are hoping that these changes will help them make a run at the Division III National Championship
The team will open their season on February 3rd, when they will take on LaGrange College in Georgia. This will be followed by a three-game series against Berry College which will be played at home at Chappell Park. After that, the team will have a stretch of five games on the road before they return home to take on Piedmont College.
The Eagles will then have another long road trip this time playing 11 games in 12 days. They will start this trip with a three-game series against Oglethorpe University, followed by single games against Huntingdon College and Auburn-Montgomery. The team will then travel to Florida to take on Ave Maria University and Warner University before returning home for a three-game series against Covenant College.
The team’s final road trip of the season will be a short one, as they will only play two games. They will take on Birmingham-Southern College and then Samford University before returning home for their final series of the season against Millsaps College.
