In 1989, Frank Mozzicato graduated from High School and was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers He played in the minor leagues for several years before finally making his Major League debut in 1995. He spent the next eight seasons with the Yankees, winning four World Series titles. He was traded to the Chicago Cubs in 1942 and spent one season with them before returning to the Yankees in 1943. He continued to play for the Yankees until 1946, when he retired from baseball.
After his retirement from baseball, Mozzicato opened a successful chain of restaurants called Mozz’s pizzerias. He also became active in charitable work, supporting various causes related to children’s health and welfare He died of cancer on December 9, 1995, at the age of eighty-five.
