Holy Cross Basketball shatters previous record

The Holy Cross men’s Basketball team has officially shattered the record for most three-pointers made in a single season. The team had been closing in on the record for weeks, and finally broke it during their game against the University of Connecticut on February 28th.

The previous record was held by the University of Kentucky who made 276 three-pointers during the 2009-2010 season. Holy Cross has now made 282 three-pointers, with four games still left to play in the regular season

Head Coach Bill Carmody is extremely proud of his team’s achievement, saying that they’ve worked hard all season and deserved to break the record. He’s confident that they’ll continue to play well and make a strong run in the postseason.
