Team update: How the team is doing so far this season

The Nebraska Huskers Baseball Team is in the thick of their season and so far, they are holding their own. The team sits at a record of 18-11, which is good for fourth place in the Conference Standings The team has been led by strong pitching and defense, as well as some timely hitting.

The pitching staff has been the backbone of the team, posting a combined ERA of 3.51, which is good for second in the conference. The starters have been particularly strong, with junior Jake Hohensee leading the way with a record of 6-1 and an ERA of 2.48. This season has started off a little rocky for the Huskers with a record of 5-10. The Huskers played the Jayhawks on Friday, April 5th and won 7-0. It was their fourth consecutive victory. The Huskers will have to settle for a share of the conference title as they finish their regular season with a record of 30-5 overall and 15-3 in conference play
