The Husker women’s basketball team is one of the most successful programs in the country. They have won five National Championships and have been to the Final Four 18 times. The team is currently ranked No. 6 in the nation.

As the Nebraska women’s Basketball season approaches, fans will want to know when and where they can watch the Cornhuskers in action. The 2019-20 schedule is filled with marquee matchups, so here is a look at the games you won’t want to miss.
Nebraska will open the season on the road against South Dakota State on Nov. 5 re Playing its home opener against Southern on Nov. 10. The Cornhuskers will then face Iowa State on Nov. 17 in Ames.
Other notable games include a Dec. 8 matchup at Wisconsin, a Jan. 2 Home game against Rutgers, a Jan. 8 contest at Maryland and a Jan. 25 home game against Northwestern.
The Cornhuskers will close out the regular season with a Feb. 29 game at Illinois and a March 3 contest at home against Purdue.

Nebraska will open their season at home against South Dakota on November 5th. They’ll then hit the road for a couple of games, first taking on Rutgers on November 8th before heading to Colorado to take on the Buffaloes on November 11th.
After that, the Huskers will take on a tough slate of non-conference opponents at home. They’ll take on UCF on November 15th, Florida Gulf Coast on November 17th and then Drake on December 1st.
As always, conference play will be tough for Nebraska as they’ll have to face off against some of the best teams in the country. As the Huskers women’s basketball team prepares to take on some of the toughest competition in the country during their non-conference schedule we want to give fans a look at what lies ahead.
This season, Nebraska will play 11 games against teams that qualified for the 2019 NCAA tournament including five games against teams that advanced to the Sweet Sixteen or beyond.
In addition to their Regular Season schedule, the Huskers will also compete in the Junkanoo Jam Tournament in the Bahamas over Thanksgiving break. The Junkanoo Jam is a made for TV event, and will feature four games in three days against some of the best teams in the country.
