With a new Head coach and a talented group of young players the Irish are primed to make some noise in the upcoming season Here’s a look at the gameplan for the Irish this season.

The first order of business for the Irish is to solidify their place in the ACC. After a down year last season, the conference is wide open and there are no clear-cut favorites. The Irish will need to string together some wins early in the conference season to prove that they belong in the conversation with the likes of Duke, North Carolina and Louisville.

Secondly, the Irish need to take care of business against non-conference opponents. In years past, there have been too many slip-ups against teams that should have been easy wins. This season, those games need to be treated as must-wins if the Irish want to have any chance at making the NCAA Tournament

Lastly, and most importantly, the Irish need to focus on playing their best basketball come March Madness time. In order to make a run March Madness time comes down to playing your best basketball when it matters most which is something that has eluded this team in recent years If they can do that this season, there’s no reason why they can’t make a deep run March Madness appeared first on The Student Section
