As a senior, Lowe was even better. He was named First Team All-Conference after averaging 16 points, five assists, and four rebounds per game. He helped lead UNO to a 20-9 record and a berth in the Conference USA tournament.

Sadly, Lowe’s story has a tragic ending. In July of 2007, just months after his college career ended, he was shot and killed during an attempted robbery near his home in Gary. He was just 22 years old.
