In 2015, the Kean baseball team had a record of just 12-29. Two years later, they were one of the top teams in NCAA Division III finishing with a record of 34-11 and making it to the College World Series

They started to see results immediately, going 27-16 in their first season under Ioviero. The following year, they took things even further, winning 34 games and earning a berth in the College World Series
