The Linfield basketball schedule has been released and is available for view below. The team will be playing a total of 30 games, 15 of which will be at home.
The first game of the season is on Friday, November 8th against George Fox University The last game of the regular season is on Saturday, February 29th against Lewis & Clark University.
conference play begins on Saturday, December 7th when Linfield takes on Whitworth University and ends on Saturday, February 22nd when they play Willamette University

Highlights of the schedule
The wait is finally over, and the Linfield college basketball schedule has been released! Here are some of the highlights of the upcoming season
-The Wildcats will open their season at home on November 9th against Lewis & Clark College.
-They will play their first road game of the season on November 16th, when they take on Willamette University
-Linfield will have a busy December, including games against crosstown rivals George Fox University and Pacific University
– Their final Home game of the season will be on February 8th against Whitman College
-The Wildcats will close out their regular season on February 15th with a road game against Puget Sound University.
Key games to watch
The Linfield men’s basketball team will open its 2017-18 Season on Friday, November 10, with a home game against Concordia University The Wildcats will then hit the road for games at Puget Sound (Nov. 17) and Pacific (Nov. 18) before returning home to take on Northwest Christian on November 21.
Linfield’s key games will be against George Fox (Jan. 5 at home), Whitman (Jan. 12 on the road), and Lewis & Clark (Jan. 26 at home). The Wildcats will also have tough non-conference games against Pacific Lutheran (Dec. 2 at home), Whitworth (Dec. 3 on the road), and Willamette (Dec. 9 on the road).
How the schedule was made
The 2019-20 schedule for Linfield Basketball was released, and Head Coach Scott Hofer is looking forward to the season. “Our guys have worked really hard this offseason,” said Hofer. “We’re excited to get started.”
The schedule was made with the input of the Coaching Staff and the players. “We wanted to create a schedule that would challenge our players and help them grow as athletes,” said Hofer. “We’re confident that we’ve done that.”
The season will begin on November 5th with a home game against Pacific University. The Wildcats will then travel to take on Lewis & Clark on November 8th. They will return home for three games, before hitting the road again for five games. The season will conclude with a home game against George Fox on February 29th.
What the schedule means for the team
The Linfield Basketball Schedule was released on Monday and there are some key games that will have an impact on the team’s ranking. The first game is against Lewis and Clark on December 4th. This will be a tough game as Lewis and Clark is a ranked team. The second game is against Willamette on December 7th. This is a must win game for the team as Willamette is one of their biggest rivals. The third game is against Pacific on December 14th. This is another tough game as Pacific is also a ranked team. The Linfield Basketball Schedule was released yesterday and the team is already feeling the pressure. The Wildcats will face off against some of the best teams in the country, including defending champions UNC.
“It’s going to be a tough season,” said point guard Mark Reynolds. “But we’re up for the challenge. We’ve been working hard in practice and we’re ready to compete.”
“We’re excited for the opportunity to play against some of the best teams in the country,” said head coach Matt Hoyt. “It’s going to be a great test for our team.”
The Wildcats will open their season on November 10th at home against Duke.
Coach’s thoughts on the schedule
The Linfield men’s Basketball team recently released their schedule for the upcoming season Head Coach Chrislishion Jones is excited about the slate of games and is looking forward to the challenge of competing against some of the best teams in the country.
“We are really excited about our schedule this season,” said Coach Jones “We have some great opponents lined up and we are looking forward to the challenge of playing against them.”
The Wildcats will open their season on November 6th with a home game against Portland Bible College. They will then hit the road for a five-game road trip which includes games against some of the top teams in Division III basketball. They will return home on December 8th to take on Lewis & Clark College.
Coach Jones believes that his team has what it takes to compete against anyone in the country and is looking forward to seeing how they stack up against some of the best teams in Division III basketball.
Fans’ reactions to the schedule
The Linfield Basketball Schedule was released today, and fans are already expressing their excitement (or lack thereof) for the season.
On the whole, the schedule looks manageable, with only a few challenging games early on. However, there are a couple of stretches where the team will be playing away from home for extended periods of time, which may prove to be difficult.
Regardless, fans are looking forward to cheering on their team and hope that they will be able to bring home a win this year.
How the schedule will affect the season
The Linfield College men’s basketball team released their schedule for the upcoming season on Wednesday, October 10. The team will play a total of 27 games, 15 of which will be played at home in Nicholson Pavilion.
The Wildcats will start off their season with an exhibition game against Lewis & Clark on Tuesday, October 30 at 7:00 p.m. They will then play their first regular season game against Concordia on Friday, November 2 at 8:00 p.m. at home.
The team’s conference play will begin on Saturday, December 1 when they travel to Oregon to take on George Fox University They will then have a three-game homestand against University of Puget Sound (December 6), Whitworth University (December 8), and Whitman College (December 15).
Linfield’s last game of the season will be on Saturday, February 16 when they host Pacific Lutheran University
