Maryland Basketball Releases Schedule for Upcoming Season
The Maryland Terrapins men’s basketball team has released its schedule for the upcoming season The team will open the season with a Home game against Mount St. Mary’s on November 6th. The full schedule is as follows:

Key Dates and Matchups

Some key dates and matchups include:
-The season opener on November 5th against Holy Cross
-A matchup against former conference rival Duke on December 3rd
-A conference game against Potential conference tournament champion Virginia on February 22nd

The Terps’ Non-Conference Schedule
The Terps will face a tough non-Conference Schedule this season, with games against Penn State Ohio State and Seton Hall
Maryland will open the season at home against Loyola (Md.) on November 5th. They will then travel to University Park, PA to take on Penn State on November 9th. The Terps will host Ohio State on November 12th, and then will travel to South Orange, NJ to take on Seton Hall on November 15th.
Maryland will have a break in the action before resuming their schedule with a game against Georgetown on November 26th. They’ll close out the month of November with a home game against Towson on the 29th.
December will bring more challenges for the Terps, as they’ll take on Virginia Tech at home on the 3rd, followed by a road game against Syracuse on the 6th. They’ll close out their non-conference schedule at home against Howard on December 22nd.
ACC Conference Play
The Maryland Terrapins men’s basketball team has released their schedule for the upcoming season which will feature conference play in the ACC. The Terps will open up their season with a conference game against Louisville on December 6th, and will close out the regular season against Duke on March 3rd. In between, Maryland will play games against some of the ACC’s top teams including UNC, Wake Forest Virginia, and Syracuse.
The Terps’ Home Schedule
The Terps will play a total of 17 home games this season, with 14 of those coming against Big Ten opponents. The home slate will open on November 5th against Holy Cross and will include games against conference foes Iowa, Northwestern, Purdue, Michigan State and Rutgers. Maryland will also host Oklahoma State as part of the Big Ten/ACC Challenge. The complete home schedule can be found below.

The Terps’ Road Schedule
The Maryland Basketball team has released its schedule for the upcoming season and the Terps will have their share of tough road games. Some of the highlights of the road schedule include games at Duke, UNC, Virginia, and a neutral site game against Kentucky in Brooklyn. The Terps will also have a tough road game against conference foe Purdue.
The Terps’ TV Schedule
The Terps will appear on television 29 times this season, including 17 ESPN family of networks broadcasts and a school-record 12 Big Ten Network contests.
Maryland will make four appearances on ESPN and three on ESPN2. The Terps’ game at Northwestern on Jan. 3 will be televised live on ESPNU.
Ten of Maryland’s 17 home games will be televised, including eight Big Ten contests. All four of the Terps’ games at XFINITY Center this season will also air live on BTN Plus – the digital platform of the Big Ten Network – with Maryland’s game against Oklahoma State on Nov. 17 also being streamed live on FloHoops.com.
The Terps’ Radio Schedule
The Terps have announced their schedule for the upcoming season which will feature 31 games. 19 of those contests will be broadcast on the Terrapin sports radio Network, with 12 of them being carried live on WBAL 1090-AM and Baltimore’s ESPN Radio affiliate, 1300-AM.
The first game of the season will be a exhibition contest against Bowie State on November 1st, with the regular season getting underway against Mount St. Mary’s on November 6th. That game will tip-off at 7:30 p.m. and can be heard on the Terrapin Sports Radio Network.

The Terps’ Ticket Information
The Maryland men’s basketball team released its schedule for the upcoming season on Tuesday, and ticket information is now available for Terps fans.
The Terps will open the season at home against Rider on Nov. 10. They will also play host to Howard (Nov. 13), Loyola Maryland (Nov. 17), NJIT (Nov. 20) and Winthrop (Dec. 2) at XFINITY Center this season.
Non-conference road games include trips to Penn State (Nov. 24), Virginia Tech (Dec. 6) and Seton Hall (Dec. 22). The Terps will also travel to Hawaii for the Diamond Head Classic, where they will face New Mexico State (Dec. 23), Charlotte (Dec. 25) and either Auburn or Xavier in the tournament semifinals ( Dec. 27).
Maryland will begin its quest for a fifth straight Big Ten regular-season title on Dec. 30 when it hosts Northwestern at XFINITY Center. The Terps’ conference home slate also includes games against Illinois (Jan. 3), Rutgers (Jan 12), Nebraska (Jan 15), Purdue (Jan 27), Wisconsin (Feb 3), Indiana (Feb 10), Michigan State (Feb 17) and Iowa (March 3).
Maryland will play four of its last five regular-season games on the road, beginning with a trip to Michigan on Feb 20 followed by a visit to Ohio State on Feb 24 The Terps then return home to face Penn State on March 1 before closing out the Regular Season with consecutive road games at Illinois (March 7) and Nebraska (March 10).
