Merrimack Women’s Basketball: A Look Back
The Merrimack women’s Basketball team had a very successful season this year, finishing with a record of 25-6 overall and 15-3 in conference play The Warriors made it to the semifinals of the conference tournament where they lost to eventual champion Bentley.
This season was special for many reasons. It was the first time in program history that the team won 20 games in back-to-back seasons. It was also the first time that the team won 15 conference games in a single season.
In addition to all of those milestones, the team also set a new program record for most three-pointers made in a single season (250). Senior guard Sabrina Patton led the way with 96 three-pointers, which is also a new program record.
The Warriors will look to build on their success next season, as they return all five starters from this year’s team.
