Morningside Basketball has released their schedule for the upcoming season The team will play a total of 32 games, including 16 home games and 16 away games. The schedule is as follows:

Morningside Releases Non-Conference Schedule

Morningside Men’s Basketball has announced their non-Conference Schedule for the upcoming season The Mustangs will play a total of ten games against opponent such as Midland, Dordt, Northwestern, and Briar Cliff

Morningside will open their season on November 5th against Midland at 7:00 pm in the Wikert Event Center. The Mustangs will then welcome Dordt on November 8th for a 8:00 pm contest. Morningside will travel to Northwestern on November 10th for a 5:30 pm game before returning home to host Briar Cliff on November 12th at 8:00 pm.

The Mustangs will take on Mount Marty in Yankton, South Dakota on November 17th at 7:30 pm before returning to Sioux City to face Northwestern on November 19th at 2:00 pm in the Wikert Event Center. Morningside’s final Home game of the non-conference schedule will be on December 3rd against Mount Mercy with tipoff set for 2:00 pm.

The final three games of the non-conference schedule will see the Mustangs travel to Doane on December 8th for a 7:30 pm contest followed by a trip to Concordia on December 10th for a 5:30 pm game. Morningside will finish up their non-conference slate with a trip to Fremont, Nebraska to take Midland on December 17th at 7:00 pm.

Morningside Releases Conference Schedule

The Morningside College men’s Basketball team has announced their conference schedule for the upcoming season The Mustangs will be playing in the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and will face off against some tough competition.

Their first conference game will be against Midland University on December 3rd. They will then take on Concordia University on December 5th. The next two games will be against Northwestern College and Briar Cliff University before they take a break for Christmas.

After Christmas, they will start January off with a game against Doane University re Playing Mount Marty College, Dordt College, and Hastings College. January will end with games against Nebraska Wesleyan University and Northwest Missouri State University

February will consist of GPAC games against Midland University, Concordia University, Northwestern College, Briar Cliff University Doane University, and Mount Marty College. The regular season will end with a game against Dordt College on February 21st.

The GPAC tournament is set to begin on February 25th and go until March 2nd. The MorningsideMustangs are looking to make a run at the conference title and hopefully qualify for the NCAA tournament

Morningside Releases Home Schedule

The Morningside College men’s basketball team has announced their home schedule for the upcoming season The Mustangs will play a total of 17 games at Allee gumbo Coliseum, with the first home game taking place on November 16 against Midland University.

Highlights of the schedule include a showdown with cross-town rival Briar Cliff on December 7, as well as a visit from perennial power Northwestern College on January 4. The Mustangs will also host the GPAC conference tournament for the first time in school history on February 28 and March 2.

Morningside Releases Away Schedule

The Morningside men’s Basketball team has released their away schedule for the 2019-2020 campaign. The Mustangs will play a total of 23 games on the road, with 14 of those being conference matchups.

Morningside will open their season on the road against Briar Cliff on November 1st. They will then travel to Midland University on November 8th before returning home to take on Mount Marty on November 12th.

The Mustangs will have a busy month of December, playing eight games away from home. They will start the month off with a conference game against Dordt on December 3rd before taking on non-conference opponents Northwestern and Waldorf. Morningside will then wrap up December with a five-game road trip that includes games against Concordia, Doane, Midland, Hastings, and Briar Cliff.

January will see the Mustangs play seven of their eight games at home, with the only road game being a conference matchup against Northwestern on January 18th. The team will then close out the regular season with five straight road games, including four conference contests.

The Morningside basketball team recently released their schedule for the upcoming season The schedule includes games that will be televised on ESPN, ESPN2, and CBS Sports Network.

Morningside Releases Radio Schedule

The Morningside Mustangs have announced their radio schedule for the upcoming season The Mustangs will have 16 games broadcast on the Mustang Sports Network (MSN), with 14 of those games being carried live on KSCJ 1360 AM and 98.9 FM and two games being simulcast on both KSCJ and KTIA 99.3 FM.

Morningside Releases Promotional Schedule

Morningside College has released their promotional schedule for the upcoming Basketball season The school will be giving away several items to fans throughout the season, including a mini basketball hoop t-shirts, and posters. They will also be hosting a “meet the team” event prior to their first home game.

Morningside Releases Game Notes

Morningside Men’s Basketball Head Coach Jim Sykes has announced the schedule for the 2020-21 season. The Mustangs will open the campaign on November 25 against Concordia University at 7:00 p.m. in Fremont, Neb.

It will be the first meeting between the two schools since Morningside joined the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) for the 2011-12 season. Concordia is a member of the GPAC along with 15 other schools located in Nebraska, Iowa, South Dakota and North Dakota

The Mustangs will play their first seven games of the season on the road before making their home debut against Briar Cliff University on Saturday, January 9, 2021. Morningside’s conference opener will be played on Wednesday, December 2, at Dordt College.

The Morningside College Men’s basketball team has announced their schedule for the upcoming season The Mustangs will play a total of 30 Regular Season games, with 15 of those contests taking place at home in Eppley Gymnasium.

Morningside will open up their season on Tuesday, November 5th with a road game against Bellevue University. This will be followed by six consecutive home games highlighted by a tilt against defending GPAC champions, Briar Cliff University on Friday, November 22nd.
