The Team

The Results
The Multnomah University Men’s basketball team played their first game of the season yesterday against Alpenrose Community College The game was a close one, with both teams scoring in the high 60s, but in the end Multnomah came out on top with a score of 67-64. The team’s next game is scheduled for next Saturday against Clackamas Community College
The Fans
The fans are the lifeblood of any college basketball program. Without them, the games would be played in front of empty seats and the players would have no one to inspire them to victory. The fans at Multnomah University are some of the best in the country, and they play a vital role in the success of the men’s basketball team
When the team is doing well, the fans are there to support them and cheer them on to victory. When the team is struggling, the fans are there to lift them up and help them get back on track. The fans at Multnomah University are truly dedicated to their team and their school, and they are an important part of what makes Multnomah such a special place.
The Coaches
The current Head Coach of the Men’s basketball team is Nate Bjorkgren. He is from Sioux Falls South Dakota He was a four-year starter at the University of South Dakota where he still holds the school record for three-pointers made in a career.
The Game
It was a close game but the Multnomah University men’s basketball team managed to pull ahead and take the victory. The final score was 84-81.
The Conference
The conference the team competes in is the Cascade Collegiate Conference. The Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC), formerly the West Conference (NWC), is an Athletic Conference which competes in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). Members are located primarily in Oregon, with schools also in Washington and Idaho. It was founded in 1926
The Post-Season
Multnomah University’s men’s Basketball team had a great regular season finishing with a record of 23-5. They are now gearing up for the post-season and are hoping to make a run at the conference championship
The conference tournament will be held in Portland, Oregon, which is just a short drive from Multnomah’s campus. The Lions will be the second seed in the tournament and will have a bye in the first round. They will play their first game on Friday, March 6th at 8:00pm PST.
The team is led by senior guard Steve Scales, who was recently named the Conference Player of the Year. Scales is averaging 22 points per game and has been one of the best players in the conference all season long He will be key to Multnomah’s success in the post-season.
The Lions are also bolstered by a strong group of role players, including junior forward Ryan White and sophomore guard Alex Johnson. If they can play well in the post-season, Multnomah has a good chance of winning the conference tournament and advancing to the NCAA tournament
The Off-Season
Now that the school year is coming to an end, the varsity men’s Basketball Team at Multnomah University is gearing up for the off-season. The off-season is a time for the team to focus on individual skills development, Strength and Conditioning and team bonding.
Each player on the team will have specific goals to work on during the off-season. For example, one player might want to work on their outside shooting, while another might want to focus on their ball-handling skills. The Coaching Staff will work with each player to develop a plan that will help them reach their goals.
In addition to individual skills development, the team will also spend time working on their overall strength and conditioning. This is important because it will help them be in peak physical condition when they start competing again in the fall.
Finally, the off-season is also a time for the team to bond with each other. This is important because it helps create a positive team environment and builds team unity. The players will participate in various activities together, such as going to laser tag or playing paintball.
