It’s official – the 2021 NBA Finals will be called by Mike Breen, Jeff Van Gundy and Mark Jackson. Mark Cuban will also be a special guest analyst during the series.
The trio of commentators has been together for several years and has become one of the most popular broadcasting teams in the NBA. They are known for their candid commentary and insider knowledge of the game.
This will be the first time that Cuban has been a part of the NBA Finals broadcast team He is the owner of the Dallas Mavericks and is one of the most outspoken figures in the NBA. His addition to the broadcast team is sure to add an interesting perspective to the commentary.
Jim Nantz and Bill Raftery to Call 2021 NBA Finals on CBS
It was announced today that Jim Nantz and Bill Raftery will serve as the announcers for the 2021 NBA Finals on CBS. This will be the first time that Nantz and Raftery have called an NBA Finals together, and they will be joined by reporters Tracy Wolfson and Evan Washburn.
The 2021 NBA Finals will begin on either Wednesday, July 7 or Thursday, July 8, and will air on ABC.

Turner Sports and the NBA today announced that Grant Napear and Greg Anthony will serve as commentators for TNT’s exclusive live coverage of the 2021 NBA Finals Napear, who is entering his 30th season as the voice of the Sacramento Kings and Anthony, one of the most respected analysts in basketball, will be courtside at Staples Center to call all the action of the best-of-seven series.
This marks Napear’s first assignment as an NBA Finals commentator. He has been with TNT since 2002 as a studio analyst for Inside The NBA and has served as a play-by-play announcer for numerous regular season games and playoff contests over the past 19 years. Napear began his career in broadcasting as the Kings’ radio play-by-play voice from 1985-86 through 1989-90 before becoming the television play-by-play announcer from 1990 through 1992. He then rejoined the Kings radio broadcast team from 1992-93 through 2001-02.
Anthony, who has been with Turner Sports since 2011, will be making his second appearance on NBA Finals commentary, having previously served in that capacity for ABC alongside Mike Breen and Jeff Van Gundy during The Finals in 2004. Anthony has appeared on numerous marquee NBA events for TNT, including serving as an analyst for Inside the NBA every year since 2011. He also called two All-Star Games (2012, 2013), multiple Western Conference Finals (2012 – 2015) and various other regular season games and playoff contests. Prior to joining Turner Sports, Anthony enjoyed a 12-year playing career in the NBA.

ESPN’s Jeff Van Gundy and Mark Jackson will serve as the lead broadcast team for the 2021 NBA Finals on ABC, it was announced today. The duo will be joined by reporter Rachel Nichols.
This will mark Jackson’s sixth consecutive year calling the NBA Finals on ABC. He has served as the lead analyst for ABC’s NBA coverage since 2014, while also working as an analyst on ESPN’s NBA Countdown studio show since 2011. Turner Sports and Westwood One announced that veteran broadcasters Spero Dedes and Jon Barry will serve as the commentators for the 2021 NBA Finals on radio.
The duo has called numerous NBA games together over the years, including the 2015 and 2016 NBA Finals Dedes has been with Turner since 2011, while Barry has been with the company since 2008.
The 2021 NBA Finals will air on ABC, with Game 1 set for Wednesday, September 29th.

The 2021 NBA Finals will feature an All-Star announcing team, with Ernie Johnson Charles Barkley and Shaquille O’Neal set to call the action for Turner Sports.

Salters has been with ESPN since 2000 and has served as a sideline reporter for “Monday Night Football” and “NBA Countdown ” Burke, who has been with ESPN since 1995, is a longtime sideline reporter for NBA Games and is also one of the network’s top college basketball analysts.
